The customer service was outstanding. The associate went above & beyond what was expected to get authorization to match an appliance price I had found online. When he couldn't, he asked a superior if it could be accomplished. When results were unsatisfactory, he took yet another step and contacted the store manager who authorized the transaction to my satisfaction. I was pleasantly surprised that my associate cared to take the time and initiative to pursue a solution and garner my business.

Good stock but assistance is hard to find even though there are worker's are around.

Great place and always clean. Very busy but always helpful.

Am happy with the the service received from the friendly staff. Timing was unbelievable with the knowledge provided from the employees of Gallup, Home Depot. Keep up the great work !

I came to HD to purchase a new commode. I went to the Bath section to see if the commode I was looking for was available. The commode was available. I then went looking for a flat cart to haul the commode to my vehicle. I could not find one. I asked an associate about a cart and was told "They are outside." The associate continued walking down the aisle. I them went outside to find a cart and then went back to the Bath section and loaded the commode myself.

My husband and I are building a home about and we purchase many of our supplies in the Gallup, NM Home Depot. We often arrive in the store shortly after opening on Saturday mornings and we've found the staff to be very friendly so early in the morning. Cashiers always greet us upon entering the store, they always ask if we need assistance. My husband and I always know which aisle to find the products we plan to purchase, but on our way to the produce the staff we encounter all say hi and ask if we need any help or ask if we have any questions. Not sure about staff the rest of the day or week, we do know the staff on Saturday mornings are extremely helpful.

I was able to return my items bought about a week ago, It was fast, and the associated was very friendly.

I was at the store for four hours trying to pick up materials that I already paid for the day before. Numerous associates asked to help, but they never came back after they left to check on the items. One even said "I'll be back in two minutes" and after watching him help other customers we gave up on him returning. The pro desk also had a line with customers waiting for more than an hour to be helped.

PRODUCTS WERE GOOD BUT BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO ASSOCIATE AVAILABLE

The young lady from flooring came over to the electrical dept to give us a hand. She went out of her way even though she was getting off work. Cashier was very cheerful her self. Will come back to this store because of this experience

I got a great deal on ordering a washer, even better then what was in the store. Although i did experience a long wait time to get that deal.. The associate who was trying to help me was actually covering some one else who wasnt there.. I do appreciate his effort ...thanks but i did not recieve a call saying my order was in which would have nice considering i didnt have a washer..

I asked an employee for the building materials if he could get fencing material off the top shelf for me. He totally ignored me. I asked him again if he could get the fencing material off the top shelf and he responded, "I said OKAY." I told him "no, you ignored me." He then said "OKAY means YES". I then had to wait for him to get the proper equipment to get the materials off the top shelf, this took about a half hour. If this employee does not want to help or talk to the customers, maybe he should not be working for Home Depot.

Associates never smile and are very rude. Encountered one employee (Chad) who although kind of new very friendly and very helpful!! Seems as though the employees don't want to work or are unhappy but it's not the customers fault! Show some respect for yourself and pride. This is a native town but they are not friendly at all!

We looked around in Plumbing & when a man came around the corner toward us, we said, "Tom?", as we had called in & talked to him earlier in the day. He said, "I'm Rob" and proceeded to help us in a knowledgable & unhurried fashion. He answered many questions as we didn't know much about hot water heaters. After we decided, he went to get a dolly & give directions for pickup. When we got to the loading area, we saw a sign & realized that the very helpful, knowledgeable clerk was actually the store manager! We were surprised & impressed!

I found Michelle went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in obtaining the 16"X16" step stones I needed to complete a DIY project! She went so far as to find someone that could get down a new pallet of stones to help me get just what I needed.. I have found that The Gallup, NM store to be very helpful every time I've gone there be it for Garden, Lumber, Appliances, Electrical or plumbing. I have shopped in Albuquerque also but none are as helpful as the store in Gallup. This my Home Depot store of choice for customer service and assistance to make sure you get what you need!

The store was unorganized in it's placement of products. I was looking for a specific type of caulk for my RV and I found caulks in three different departments before I found that one I wanted. To make sure I wanted to ask an associate if I got the right product. I stood in line for 15 min. before the one-man department was able to help me.

I walked in knew what I needed got asked and approached by alot of associates. It was nice

Needed to get parts for my air conditioner and found the item I needed right away! Store associates were helpful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this store!!
