The clerks worked with me on an issue I had with a High Velocity Floor Fan. The store didn’t have the sale item I wanted but there was a make and model very similar. They made it right by offing me the sale price. It’s small gestures such as these that bring me back to Home Depot.

I went to Garden City Home Depot and all of the tool aisles are dark and can't see or read anything on the pegs. I literally had to use my flashlight to find what I needed. Also the whole store randomly goes real dim on the lighting and appears like a store that is about to close for the day.

It's supposed to be brand new dishwasher machine but when I unboxed at home, I saw some water inside the machine and inside the tubing. This maybe was a returned unit.

I frequently shop in your store because it is convenient and featurs a friendly staff who make shopping a rewarding experience.

Over the years Home Depot's Customer Service has been all over the place-- ranging from total indifference to genuinely helpful! Last night we were helped by Ray-Ray and Ember who were nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. They knew and explained the pros and cons of each appliance we wanted to purchase. It was great, unexpected and pleasing to work with these women. How refreshing it was to speak to someone who actually knew their product lines instead of getting a shrug of the shoulders.. Both of these women work from 5 to closing. Ray-Ray is an assistant manager who guided us through our washer and dryer purchases and Ember helped us with our oven and microwave selections. It was a good experience!

Ordered a washing machine to be delivered & installed in a very short time. Excellent service.

I went in to order a refrigerator and when I was done I got a message saying I would be contacted for a water analysis. No one mentioned this to me. I'm a master plumber and can do this for myself, and frankly some of these installations I have seen (including my sons house) they are not installed up to code with the drain tied directly to the sewer with no air gap so I'm pretty sure no permits were taken out and no inspection was done. These are all things us plumbing professionals should be doing, it protects our customers.

I bought some new Milwaukee tools and they were a very good deal!

I asked for help loading up 50 bags of insulation and we waited close to 3 hours and still ended up taking up to the register my myself. While all the kids just chitchatting around not helping me nor other customers

Found just what we needed.

I came into the garden city store on July 10 2024 and looked for replacement doors for my house. I was quoted a price and emailed the same quote that said the quote was good until July 17. I went back to the garden city store on July 13 to order and pay for the 2 doors on the quote and also ended up buying a screen door for one of the doors. After waiting 5-6 weeks all 3 doors were in stock and I had my son pick them up since he was in town with a trailer. We stored them in our garage until our contractor could install them. On September 11 our contractor came to install the doors and it was discovered that the door for the house was 6” narrower than the door that we had ordered and would not fill the hole from the previous door. I immediately went to Home Depot and checked with the order desk about which size door I had ordered and they confirmed that I DID order the correct door width on July 13 and it was a mistake by the supplier or Home Depot They reordered the correct door and it would be approximately 6 weeks for the new door to arrive. After 8 weeks I called to ask about the new door and was told that the order had been cancelled and they were waiting for me to return the incorrect door. I took the incorrect door th the garden city store on Thursday Nov 7 for a refund and to reorder and pay for the correct door. They charged me a 15% restocking fee for something that was not my fault and out of my control. I am very disappointed that first they did not honor their 10 day quote and second that they charged a restocking fee for their mistake. I would not be upset with this restocking fee if I had ordered the smaller door myself and we did not open the doors to check widths as they were well packed and protected in their shipping boxes.

I received part of the order on Saturday. Since that day I can no longer track the rest of my order! $500 out there with no tracking seems like an insult.

I’m doing a lot of home improvement and I visit this store several times a month. Great selection very friendly people and a great selection.

The Garden City Kansas Home Depot store is a lifeline for homeowners and professionals in the area. The employee are always professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I don’t know what I’d do without this store for my many projects and professional needs.

The employees at Garden City are very friendly and they never make me feel like I am imposing on their time when I need assistance.
