This store always has what I need weather supplies for a project or tools I may need at a excellent price and a very caring knowledgeable staff always willing to help

I bought a dryer on Monday and delivered today , Friday , great salesman and great delivery job !

I bought a zero turn gas mower on sale. Walking into the store was the difference. The item was marked down 900 dollars. I was able to use my Home Depot card and get 24 months interest free. I also bought a Bosch Refrigerator and a snow blower previously with the same plan

I bought a washer form the nicest mot professional sales person I ever had and 48 hours before delivery I get a one line text…”Your order has been postponed for 5 weeks”. Who can go without a washer for 6 weeks. No sorry, no reason, no let us help you pick a substitution. I cancelled the order and found the same item at a competitor $300 lower cost. Thanks for standing me up Home Depot but it won’t happen again.

If I can't find what I'm looking for, I can ask any employee and they can help

When I am trying to fix, repair, research anything in my home, big or small, I come to this store. The employees often ask if I want help or have a question and go out of their way to assist and inform. They are always approachable and treat me with respect rather than assume I am incompetent or ignorant as a female customer. There is a man in the electrical department that epitomizes assistance that is informative without being condescending in any way.

We did a complete bathroom remodel & had terrible assistance in the tile/flooring department, the 1 guy we spoke with acted like we were bothering him, however, the guys in plumbing & vanities were fantastic.

Will always shop here the best service anywhere. Jerome,Dick and Greg. The whole store is great.

I was thinking that a button by the 2 saws where customers could alert the lumber staff of a need for assistance at the saws.

The Gates store is always clean and well stocked. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. The manager must be very good. There are other stores that are not as good.

I hate them…I like someone to cash me out….hate those self help registers…absolutely hate them…yep, always have employees cash us out, PLEASE!

One cashier is a busy store on a Saturday at PEEK hours! Cashier tells me they can’t have self check out because to many thieves were robbing the store. So instead, the store has ONE cashier and literally 20 people in line @ $6K in merchandise waiting to be cashed out! When i say you should have more cashiers, front end manager walks by and tells me if I don’t like it, don’t come back here and shop! OK, I will take my business elsewhere. Cause I now want new carpeting and paint and a bunch of other items! No problem Home Depot, there are other stores and not just HD.

I have shopped at this store for 23 years andnhave totally remodeled my house using this store. Yesterday I went in gas home Depot. The lines were long and they only had 1 cashier opened. When I got up to the register, she closed! Customer service manager and Jen said if I didn't like it, I shod shop elsewhere. So now I will go elsewhere and recommend that others do the.same! This store has turned to trash and the employees are lazy! You wait forever for anyone to help you and then get treated like trash.

5 young man standing around and not one could help an older women lift mulch into her car! Lazy , acting like they are doing you a favor for ringing you up etc:.

I have never had an unfavorable experience with the Gates store. The staff are friendly and helpful. A couple times when I asked for assistance and the employee was not able to help or answer my questions, t try hey were able to find or put me in contact with someone that could. They seem to honestly be concerned and like to help.

Purchased a refrigerator, DANA helped us. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us…GOOD JOB…

Was advised to purchase a costlier and smaller 'counter depth' fridge based on the on-line size estimation tool and the sales person's advice. After delivery, we clearly had sufficient room for the standard depth model. When addressing an option to exchange the fridge, I was informed that we exceeded the store's 48 hour return window, so no chance of exchange. Recommend avoiding this retailer for appliance purchases.

I normally shop at the Gates store because it's conveniently located near my home. Most of the time there are no issues and whenever I ask for help the people in Gates are VERY HELPFUL. This last visit was a different experience for me however. The checkout process was almost non-existent with only ONE employee running 1 machine and all the self checkout machines were closed down. There was a huge line of customers waiting to check out and I felt terrible for the 1 employee working alone! I asked him about it and he said they were "short staffed". This is so unacceptable to me - where was customer service helping this poor guy out?? They should have re-routed customers to the CS desk or Returns to alleviate the backup of people! I will continue to shop at store 1278 but I think some of the other customers were annoyed enough to perhaps not want to return to that store. Please HIRE more help that can work the cash registers!! Home depot treats me no different than a homeowner that shops there 3 times a year. Home Depot does not stock the necessary materials to complete jobs.

I always go to this Home Depot first because they usually have what I need. If they are out of a particular item I go to another Home Depot! These are the BEST stores around.

I had the best experience with Home Depot and their employee Doug Payne. He was wonderful to work with; did not pressure me into buying something I didn’t want. He was very considerate about my budget also. Will definitely refer him to my friends and family. A truly enjoyable visit.
