I had a list of about 14 items....used several assistants....all smiled and were willing to help until I got what I needed

I purchased a log splitter on line to be delivered to the Gaylord store. It arrived in a crate not ready to tow like the picture on line. Bob MacDonald took the time to assemble it for me at no extra charge so I could tow it to the cabin. He dropped what he was doing and spend 2 hours bolting the thing together. This is one of the best service experiences I have had anywhere.

Home Depot was my "Home away from home" for years as a handyman and construction project manager.

I found the store was well displayed and organized...the clerks were very helpful !

We love this store for the helpful staff and the selection. The layout and selection is better than that of other stores that are the same distance to our house. We always choose Gaylord.

I'm not always sure of what I need for a Do-it-yourself project, but I know I can always count on a Home Depot associate to give me some helpful advice, and take me to the right department. They ask all the right questions in order to help me get just what I need to get the job done, without trying to sell me extra stuff. I think they know, that just by helping me with the project at hand that I'm sure to be back. And that's a sure bet.

was not planning on buying a drill when i went in. i was looking for some plumbing stuff and just thought i'd take a peek at the cordless drills. i saw the brushless ridgid and picked it up to see how it felt. i was impressed with the quality of the drill , the features and the price. i really like my ridgid table saw and have been thinking about updating my cordless drill sometime in the future. but i was so impressed with THIS drill i bought it now. and at checkout the cashier signed me up for a homedepot card and i got an imediate $25..00 off!

I'm building my own home, so I've spent a great deal of time in nearly every department of this store. The items I need are generally well-organized and well-stocked. Checkout is pleasant, accurate and efficient. When I do have to return merchandise, it is accepted with no hassle. That is the kind of convenience that will keep me coming back. I've found that staff expertise varies broadly, which is to be expected. Some store associates have steered me totally wrong in trying to help, while others have given me helpful tips that saved me time and money. I generally go into the store knowing what I need and how to use it, so I just count on the staff to help me locate merchandise, place special orders (as needed) and check out. It works well for me and I'm a satisfied customer.
