Alexis Rios who does not work in the area of kitchen appliances but in cabinetry was available and willing to assist me with purchasing my urgently needed refrigerator. Not only did he know how to speak English but knowing that he also spoke Spanish was extremely helpful since there were words that I did not know how to say them in English. He took his time to answer all of my questions and advised me appropriately with which product would suit my needs. I'm extremely grateful that he was available at the time when I was in desperate need. I did not want all of my food to spoil so Alexis assisted me to find a temporary solution until my new fridge got delivered. I was able to get a smaller fridge which was not expensive at all and which I will use in the near future.

The store is amazing for finding supplies and equipment to do you own home repairs and improvements. But, unless you are very handy, stay away from getting appliances there. They use third-party installers and no one bears responsibility for your ultimate satisfaction. This is how they left my dryer plug at installation:

Whenever I shop at this location, the store is clean and bright. The employees seem interested in helping and offering suggestions related to my purchase needs. And, checkout is usually fast, with an employees standing by to assist at the self checkout registers as well.

We are lucky enough to live 2 miles away from the store so it is our go to. The employees are very nice and always pay attention to our dogs when we bring them in because we do take them in. Normally everything is in stock and if we have any questions there’s usually someone around to answer them.

I went in to get some fencing small fencing for my garden you were out none of the employees ever asked me if I needed help so I had to look around myself I had to ask a girl and she did tell me where to go

I went to home depot hoping to get some part to repair my garage door, but I am glad I met David and gain some insight knowledge about the lifespan, parts, and what to look for when making decisions about repair or replace a garage door. Also credit to Joe for walking me through the process of choosing the right parts for my need. Thank you again for David and Joe for helping me out tremendously!

I’m at this store every week. They always have plenty of products in stock and the employees are friendly and helpful.

I need a piece of wood cut the size 9 feet exactly the gentleman cut it and I went on my way when I got to the register they had to measure it for payment. It was 9‘2“ not 9 feet as I requested. I took the piece of wood back to have it re-cut Could not find anyone to assist me after 15 minutes. I just left also, on that same visit I bought two other items that were mispriced. The price did not match the shelf price in all I got for my trouble was oh I’m sorry.

Employees always turn away faking phone calls or wave to an area for me to search for my product. Horrible customer service.

GET SOME LAZY MANAGERS OUT ON THE FLOOR

These two pooling driving lawn mowers have plastic transmissions and they both broke out of it the body fell apart

Glastonbury ct has mainly 2 guys to unlock the bays and help u with the power tools. The one guy has been there for years and is always helpful and knowledgeable. The other newer kid/guy is great also and seems perfect for the job 👍

It would be nice to get my things and not have to deal with a sales person from a solar or energy company trying to sell me and taking my time.

I had a lot to do and got it all done on a Sunday in under an hour. I bought a dishwasher and go 13 paint samples in under an hour.

I was having issues with an online order & the Managers were able to resolve it.

Only self-checkout, line of waiting people, one person helping customers. No paper receipts available.

Staff went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. I’m even when the items weren’t located in the places they were supposed to be at.

As someone who has shopped extensively at this store the past month, including purchase of all new kitchen appliances recently, I was extremely upset by my shopping experience last night and may discontinue shopping at Home Depot as a result. I was looking at boxes of vinyl plank flooring. I purchased one box earlier in the week and was trying to determine how many more I needed. I was then told a vehicle was coming through and I needed to go. I asked one quick question and was told by this rude young male associate that the driver of the vehicle worked in flooring but I needed to leave the aisle, There was no offer to help me afterwards , just to leave the aisle. I’ve had mostly good experiences in this store but I won’t give more of my money to a company that hires people with bad attitudes who treat customers this way. Hopefully this employee is terminated, I highly doubt it’s the first time he’s treated a customer this way.

This is a great store with friendly staff. I was so glad that the checkout lady told me to save my receipt for the palm tree I bought. She told me that I could redeem a a palm tree that died up to a year. I was so thankful she told me that. I have saved my receipt but hopefully my palm tree will live. It's that kind of friendly help that I really have come to enjoy at Home Depot and Glastonbury. I would recommend a store to anyone who has a need for Home goods.

I would like to thank Mr. Robert Salkey, Appliance Specialist @ the Glastonbury, CT Home Depot store for his patience, assistance, kindness, knowledge, and great disposition.

Expect to be greeted by staff like in a sincere way like as if they remember you from last time you were there. Either they do remember you, or they are just genuinely nice people.

This store usually has what I need in stock, and is in a convenient location right off the highway. They really need to get all of the promotional items and displays out of the front end where everyone walks. It’s nothing but clutter. Two people trying to push carts down the narrow aisle in opposite directions creates a traffic jam, especially near the self checkouts.

Very happy with the many products that I’ve bought from Home Depot over the past few years. If I’ve had a problem with anything, they have always done the right thing to remedy the issues.

The item purchased saved my the headache of building one. The priced item was a money saver. The price included 4-wheels and wood frame. This item fits my needs.

Fast and easy well stocked

I am so happy that I went to Home Depot in Glastonbury, CT to purchase 12 interior doors to replace old ones in my home. Joe in the Doors department was extremely helpful throughout the process.
