Tool Rental
Jump into your home improvement project with confidence and the best tools. Let The Home Depot Glendale, CO Tool Rental Center expand your toolbox with the items you don't have at home. Rent what you need and return it when you've completed the project. If those rental tools just went from wanted to needed, inquire about buying our retired rental tools. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.
Tame the Lawn and Trees Early
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower rental, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw, and the sidewalks with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be refreshed and ready for new spring flowers before you know it.
Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
For a more energy-efficient home, upgrade your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent equipment made for insulation to get it installed correctly. Decide between a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies well. Installing insulation keeps your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, all while tempering your heating and cooling bills.
Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep pickup trucks and cargo vans ready for rental — with availability varying by store. We'll have the correct size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your trusted source for packing, DIY projects, and storage needs, it's smart to make us your source for transport and moving as well.
To get tools and transportation for your DIY or moving project, check out The Home Depot Glendale, CO Tool and Truck Rental Center. Renting the correct tools for the job makes a difference. We're here to help you get that project done.
How do I rent a tool or moving truck?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what tools and trucks are up for rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also visit our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is available at your favorite store. For more details on renting tools, read the Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool for an hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and long-term projects aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I choose how long to rent a truck?
Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract before choosing a truck.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. If you don't, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
