It was Father's Day and my Birthday, so my ex was visiting his daughter's and said he can fix my lamp that needed re-wiring. He is a positive, humble and a very funny person.

I have my 4 French doors replaced with Milgard products and they look great. The products became available within a month and the installation was done in one day, faster than I thought. I am extremely pleased.

Cashier over rang number of items in Garden, told me to go inside and see return desk or get another same item when I caught mistake before leaving register. She couldn’t give me $3 back!

When purchasing a lawn mower the guy that help gave me a lot of good advice.

I've always had great customer service at this store. Suzanne at Customer Service is the best!

Your team members are SO hard to find !!! When I do find one I have start the conversation, they don’t ask “ How can I help you” or even a simple Hi or Hello !!! The customer service is terrible !!!! What is just as bad is trying to call before coming in !!! I get put on hold and it usually takes the person coming back on the line about 2-3 times before someone from the department we’re trying to reach answers !!! Usually at least a 20 minute ordeal !!!

I can into the Home Depot in south HB to exchange a propane cylinder. One employ was collecting carts and saw me. He asked if he could help and took the propane for me while I went inside to pay. The cashier immediately ask to help me and I paid for the exchange. The exchange was waiting for me with the employee at the exit door, already placed in a shopping cart to roll back to my car. It was the most amazing exchange I had ever had! Everyone was nice, efficient and could not wait to help me.

I asked a very crabby Emp if he could cut PVC to fit in my car - he stated “no, we don’t cut PVC” . I went back to the aisle to get precut sections (at twice the price) when Rick walked past and asked if I was finding everything I needed. I told him I wanted the long pieces of PVC but needed them cut to fit in my car…he said “sure, let me cut them for you!” He measured, cut and taped them together for me. Super nice guy and he was SUPER helpful!!

Very frequent shopper at this Home Depot but this last time we had an encounter with a new employee, Le, and it was the best experience we’ve ever had. So friendly and helpful!

Rod, in the garden department at the Huntington Beach store on Magnolia, was very helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions about which plants would be right for my backyard.

Store was clean, well stocked, healthy plants, friendly employees. My experience was all positive. Special shout out for Rodney...who was more knowledgeable and helpful than any employee at any garden center I've ever been to. And I've been to many. He's loved plants since he was a boy, was educated in horticulture and seems to really enjoy helping people be successful with their garden/plant needs and desires. I will come here first from now on!!

I ordered a new washer and dryer online. I also ordered two items needed for the installation. When the crew arrived they already had the two items I had ordered. I emailed the store manager because I have a problem with transportation. I asked if the items could be picked up. Within an hour there was a tap at my door. A nice young man from Home Depot had come to pick up my items. Wow! Wow! Wow! Then the cashier, Diana, called to tell me she credited the refund to my account. What terrific service!

The store location is awesome for me. I always find everything and get wonderful help in finding any of my needs. The employees are always greeting me and asking for any help I need. I truly look forward to shopping there. I get the feeling of being among family. I always look forward to shopping there. Moly, Gregg, and Bill are the best ever!

If u are used to ppl who feel 'put upon' while it's not that bad here it still exists. THAT being said, the employees here DO have to deal w/every pain in the rear end Baby Boomer who comes thru here, snotty contractors, pain in the rear end aggressive adult female customer, and constant theft, thievery, con-man, and disoriented, difficult handymen. My advice: Be very very nice, very very courteous, give them time to help u, be organized w/your questions, and you'll be ok. Just don't be an idiot or demanding-check urself, they have enough idiot customers don't u be one too.

Rod, in the Gardening / Plant section was the most helpful and knowledgeable I have had the pleasure to deal with at any Home Depot. AAA+++

The lumber aisle was extremely messy with Lumber and a forklift parked right in the middle of the Isle. Another customer and I almost tripped and fell over the lumber sticking out. The manager Tommy was extremely rude and almost combative. He would not speak to me. They charged me more money for the product that was clearly marked lower in the bay that I selected the lumber from. Check your receipt. Do not go to this Home Depot they are clearly price gouging.

Most of the time the employees are willing and able to help. My biggest complaint are how you treat people who steal. I think you should go after them than letting them get away with whatever they want. They just walk out the door. It sends the wrong message. I feel if they are allowed to take merchandise without anyone stopping them the prices for me go up!

The store was clean and orderly. Products were is good quantity, and the checkout was quick and easy.

The employees here are amazing. Rod walked me throughout the store and helped me figure out how to do my project in a way less expensive and more efficient way. Brian helped show me how and cut some pvc pipes. Both were friendly and extremely helpful. I haven’t experienced this level of customer service at any other home improvement store. Will go out of my way to come back here because of their help!

This particular store is well-stocked and their employees can find misplaced items quickly, or they find another Home Depot that has the item(s) and has it/them placed on hold at Customer Service or sent to this store for pick-up. They do well by us...
