Great customer service from Chad Heller
Chad was instrumental in helping me secure a 30k window order for my construction business. His help was so incredible I have decided that Home Depot will be the only store we source our products from. His customer service is exemplary and he should be recognized for his efforts in creating a lifelong client for me and my construction business

        In Store Inventory matches online search returns.
        Unlike many other hardware stores, Issaquah actually had the inventory in store, that the online search indicated were in the store. This is important when I need supplies to finish a home repair project, and not waste time hunting for a store that has inventory on the shelf that their online tool shows.

          Much improved!
          This store has greatly improved. The floor employees no longer ignore me and everyone is friendly. Our appliance salesman Vince Baldini was great. He knew his products well and he was down to earth and helpful. He had the answers to my questions!

            Alan and the check out guy
            This trip to Home Depot was genuinely the best Home Depot experience. My wife and I ever had. Alan helped us with the lightbulbs we needed and showed genuine interest in what we had going on. The checkout guy was also super friendly. Whatever changes you have made at that store have made a gigantic difference, good job. Much improved over the last year or two. Keep up the good work and spread this to your other stores

                  18" Battery-powered Chain Saw - beware
                  Bought it for a Christmas gift from my wife. Filled with chain oil. Ran it for 5 minutes. Left it on my workbench over night. The next day ALL of the oil was across my workbench and had run off to the floor in a 2 foot puddle. My oil cap was on very tight. Product defect or poor design??

                    Home Depot, the downward slide
                    The staff was not going out of their way to help but when we approached staff they were nice. The person in appliances was nowhere to be found, by us of other staff, we were in the store for over 30 minutes. Unclear signage for the appliances and other items we ended up purchasing, even when we asked staff they were not sure about things. There was a forced delivery fee which was not clearly marked and delivery was the only way to purchase the item.

                      The employee was great he did every thing he could to fill the order. Home Depo is less than honorable. Suggesting sales with installation yet would not warranty the sales nor provide installation.

                        I did call for the estimator to replace 3 windows and one glass sliding patio door. I went to the Issaquah store at 5:14PM on 12/6/2024. Nobody was available to answer my questions, so I finally went to customer service. They told me everyone went home at 5 PM and would return Saturday at 8 AM. I returned Saturday at 8 AM and waited and waited. Nobody showed up until 8:30 AM. An employee named Jeff from another department acknowledged my presence and noted that I had been waiting a long time. He called around, but there was no response, so I left the store at 8:49 AM.

                          Flooring replacement project is a disaster!
                          I spent $8 K. on a flooring replacement project and wish I never started it with Home Depot #4704! They only delivered part of the required materials and one thing that I didn't order. I have called the flooring department 9 times and no one will answer the phone. The installer is scheduled to install on the 4th and I don’t have the materials for them to finish.

                                  real money saver!
                                  My son and I recently traveled from the Wenatchee area and perched a large amount of 2x6 studs. These were not available at my local store for the price. The trip was well worth it. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

                                    Came in to have duplicate keys made and the associate was very uncertain with the key cutter. When I got home with my 3 backup keys they were very difficult to get to work i the locks

                                      Every time we shop there, staff are always friendly and helpful and take the time to answer our questions or help us find an item. Store is always clean and staff are very knowledgeable when we ask questions about different products, etc.

                                          Often out of stock on inventory, try going to another store if you really need a small part, box wrench, etc.
                                          It is what it is, but for whatever reason the Issaquah HD has a long history of being out of stock on items much more frequently than the Bellevue store and other stores in the area.

                                            Slow to stock shelves even when they have the products. Their delivery is very poor and unreliable.
                                            Horrible store I finally got my zero turn mower but the owners manual was soaked and fell apart. They said they would send another one and never did.

                                              Went in to see a specific model of Dishwasher. Was met with Rick who helped us with the various options. He was very helpful and talked us through the options and prices available . Very friendly and helped us with the purchase.

                                                Very attentive!
                                                I used to shop in the Bellevue store but when it’s busy you barely see someone to help you. So i decided to go to Issaquah store and the vibes are totally different. There’s always staff to help you. I would like to mention James in the door dept. I was shopping for a front door with a 42 inch w that is hard to find. James took his time to find in different manufacturers that carries that size. He even kept following up a call if I’m ready to order them. So I decided to get them. Not like in Bellevue . I told them the size of my order and got an answer of “ It’s hard to find that size , you have to find a manufacture who carries them.” Isn’t that your job? So I left. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a bad experienced.

                                                  Never anyone at the check-stands
                                                  I use to like this store a lot more, always a lot of friendly associates all around the store always willing to help, until you get to check out time, and there is only 1 cashier, or the option to use self check. So now we have to check ourselfs out, arnt there employees being paid to do this for us? I’d recommend during self check out, helping yourself to free merchandise as a way to pay yourself for having to be your own cashier.

                                                      watch out with your credit card
                                                      The clerk added my credit card to the Pro Account without my permission. I did receive a HD Email saying it was added and to call the 800 number or Text to take it off. What a joke of a phone system - three transfers and no one can find the account and the last guy just dropped the call. Two of them asked for my Soc Number and no way that was going to happen. Called the Asst Store Manager and she found the account on the first try and said it would be taken off.
