I had the pleasure of Elaine's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE tonight in the paint department. She has served me on numerous occasions in different departments & she is full of product knowledge, answers all my questions, happy to help with a nice smile, & offers options. She is the best! I'd like to call out an employee named Joan. About 18 months ago I wandered into the store as a complete novice and talk to her at length about my project of updating door trim and baseboards. I'd never done any kind of DIY projects before. She walked me through the process, recommended specific tools I would need, show me where in the store to go for baseboards and trim etc. She shared some stories and gave me the confidence to tackle this first project on my own. I would run into her many times at the store since then and she would ask for updates or ask how I was doing. Now I'm tackling many different projects of varying complexities, including updating trim, adding trim to closets & making window sills in 5 rooms, redoing a laundry room, installing a new ceiling light, and it all started with that conversation with Joan one day in Home Depot. I'd like to add that I started this new journey in my late 50s. Discovering, with Joan's support, that I really CAN do this has been extremely confidence boosting & empowering. Joan is the embodiment of customer service, but even more than that, she is wise, kind, and a wonderful teacher & mentor.

There was an employee in Electrical at this location that turned around and ignored me after I basically told him that he was wrong. He didn't seem incredibly knowledgeable. I think I had another not-too-pleasant experience here but overall this store has been fine. I would recommend the Covington store over this one (especially if it's more convenient). There is another man there also in Electrical that is very knowledgeable, polite and helpful.

My son was working on his Eagle Scout project which as a requirement must provide a community benefit and raise money towards the project. The manager at the store was very thoughtful and respectful as he listened to my son give a presentation on the project. The store made a donation towards the project and the manager provided feedback as well. The people at the counter and the service desk were so helpful. Awesome experience.

Best store in Kent... always willing to help and listen. Customer service a major plus when you are looking for information. I love my Home Depot!

Exceptional service and friendlyness

This store is consistently clean, professional and friendly. It is a new, large store with good parking and easy access off 104th ave where the traffic isn't bad at all. I would highly recommend this store.

Our microwave went out and we needed a new built-in one to replace it. Maridee in the appliance went out of her way to assure we understood exactly what we were purchasing and that it would fit into the one recently vacated by our old microwave. We were VERY happy with this transaction.

I am always excited to go shopping at this specific location. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the products and when they don't know they make sure to find someone that does.

Not only does this Home Depot have everything you’ll need, but the customer service is OUSTANDING!! Everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly! I go here a lot and not once has anyone turned me away or was ever rude. If you have question or need help, just ask! Whether it’s “where Can I find something?” or “how would I install this?”, or “what color should I pick?”, everyone has exstensive knowledge of everything and know what they are talking about. They all also know their store as to where to find things! If you were to ask “what isle is hardware in?”, they would say, “19” and if you looked confused they would automatically stop what they were doing and take you there. Sometimes it’s the little things that matter:) and this Home Depot in Kent Washington always goes above and beyond. :) Home Depot as a whole should be very thankful to have such outstanding employees work for them.

Hello, I don’t often write reviews. I was prompt ed for this one and decided to flow though. Our experience overall was very good. Every person I asked assistance of was courteous and friendly. The cashier, Rohullah, was exceptionally nice. He had a wonderful genuine smile and great attitude. Thank you for that Rohullah. Thank you, The Home Depot, for being open and available. We usually find everything we need with and without assistance.
