Remodeling a bathroom and not knowing anything of value, 2 sales associates in Kitchens and Bathrooms and flooring explained all of the different components involved and helped me find great bargains to help save on costs. It was a great experience and I will return for more help on other items in the near future.

I found what I needed quickly and purchased them at a very reasonable price. I appreciated the selection of different styles and brands of products I was there to purchase. I was in and out quickly which was great!

At the checkout I was asked if I needed help loading and declined. As I was loading my truck and employee in the parking lot came over and without be asked assisted me in loading. After it was completed I offered to buy him something to drink but he refused the offer. I wish I would have gotten his name as I was very impressed by his generosity in going out of his way to help me. Mahalo

We came to HomeDepot looking for a washer/dryer combo and Ted in the appliance center went out of his way to check the back and found us an incredible deal that we had take. We even took out a 5 year warranty for the purchase and walked out amazed! Many Mahalos, Ted for finding us a fantastic product with an even more amazing price! Great Job!

Visiting a friend at the Big Island. Needed material to fix a few things at the house. Home Depot was nearby. Wanted to see the comparison between the stores. The store layout was similar, people was friendly, helpful? store was very clean. Price???? What do you expect from the Big Island....

Needed to find an outdoor timer for Christmas decorations. Person from that department happened to be at Customer Service and took me right to where the various timers were and helped me find the correct one.

No associate said hello when entering and in the christmas area no associate to help with questions or advice in the christmas area only when checking out.

The store is clean, Very friendly and helpful workers.

Had some issues with stock availability and finding an alternative, but the staff was very friendly and helped make it a positive visit. They went overboard to make things right!!

We needed an Artificial Christmas Tree, and we found one that had a great price and it looks wonderful!

My salesperson in the major appliance department was very knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. I was pleased to find the electric range I wanted, in white, was available and in stock as it had been a special order which was returned. This made my day and was a pleasant surprise. I always enjoy shopping at Kona Home Depot.

" Tom " from garden/warehouse. Excellent customer service. Helped us from the first question i asked him, getting necessary paperwork together ( bought a trailer ) , walked us out the door , loaded my new ( 10x8 shed ) onto my new trailer , strapped it down , shook my hand with a greatful " have a nice day " and he went on to help another customer. A rare gem you have there. ' Tom ' exhibits the true essence of customer service , from first contact to shaking my hand and saying goodbye. You dont see this type of ppl around anymore. Great Job Tom!!!!

On researching HomeDepot.com we wanted to purchase Frigidaire 16.6 cu. ft. Frost Free Upright Freezer in White, ENERGY STAR Model # FFFH17F2QW as advertised for $528.00. Advertisement said it should be available in the Kona, HI store. When we arrived at store, the associate said that they only had a larger 20;o cu. ft. freezer for $648.00. And that the smaller unit could not be special ordered. While this larger freezer is satisfactory, it does not fit as well in our limited space and the higher price stretches our finite budget.

Three associates without checking inventory told me I would have to order the product I was looking for when the Home Depot website said this store had inventory on hand. When I finally found the aisle the product was supposed to be on, the person working that aisle said they had never heard of the product (while sister products were on the hooks) and I would have to order it. Never bothered to check inventory, even when I showed him on live phone access to the website that the store showed product on hand.

Always spend more than I intended. There's just too much good stuff on display Like the title says, it's my favorite toy store. . One thing does puzzle me though. The survey asks if there was someone to help me load my car. I have been to HD dozens of times and have never had help loading my car. There is no one at the door to do so. At least I have not seen anyone, yet. Aloha, John Scott

Store over head signs were very helpful in finding what I was looking for and when I needed assistance a staff left what she was doing and showed me where to find what I was looking for. Store is clean and sales items are close to the check out counter for good visibility.

the light fixture was damaged, the lens was broken when I opened it. I had already installed the matching light and needed this one for the large room, so the fixtures would match. they didn't have a replacement as they had changed the light to a smaller version and no longer carried it (it was about 2.5 months since I bought it) so, I decided to keep the one I had as it matched. I guess I should have checked it out sooner, or at least before installing the other light, then I could have retured both of them for the newer version (same price but not as nice.)

Thank you to Marlem and Shu from the Kona Home Depot and Ed from the Honolulu Home Depot:. After hearing from someone at your store that they were out of the faucets I wanted and that I'd have to ship them in and pay shipping, I called the Honolulu store to see if maybe they would have the product. Ed said that the Kona store had 14 in stock and I was very surprise cause that's not what the girl in Customer Service told me. So Ed called Shu from your store and Shu found the faucets, called me right away. I told the cashier Marlem about what had happened, and without hesitation she apologized and offered me a 10% discount for all my trouble. I really appreciated the gesture.

Home Depot has, in my opinion, the most helpful bunch of employees who go out of their way to provide assistance to customers. The store has just about everything you need to build or maintain ones home. It is definitely my favorite place and I would not hesitate to recommend Home Depot to anyone.
