Needed to replace old-school outdoor light, due to water damage. Stu, in electrical, made great suggestions to get rid of cage, and helped me exceed my wife’s expectations.

I learned through the MWOC.com website that Orange County is paying $3/sq. foot of sod removed from your property. I got approval and the MWOC representatives, Jessica and Jennifer measured my front lawn which was 588 sq. feet. So I get $1764 for sod removed plus the cost of the pea gravel from Home Depot $400 and weed blocker $96.

Such a fast transaction and we found just what we needed at a great price. We buy here and deliver to our rental in Lake Arrowhead.

Tony in Customer Service/Returns was extremely helpful. He called for help in bringing up Tony in Returns was great when I retuned two vanity mirrors because they were both broken. The guy carrying the mirrors to Return was NOT friendly. Tony was great and helped me load them into my car. The guy in light bulbs was very helpful too. Nowadays you must be a genius to buy a light bulb!

I am extremely disappointed with the service for order H6668-304457. The delivery team displayed poor attitude, refusing to use shoe covers despite my mother’s request, and dismissively saying they don’t use them. For the microwave installation, despite paying for all fees, the team was unhelpful and unwilling to install it due to a tile backsplash, which they claimed they couldn’t drill. This issue should have been addressed at the time of purchase, not during delivery. Due to their unprofessional attitude and lack of support, I canceled the order and requested the appliances be returned. Home Depot needs to improve its service standards to retain customers.

Get the junk out of the aisle

Welcome to woke depot. Stop micromanaging your stores. Hire employees and staff your registers. It’s absolutely ridiculous that there are more operating cash registers at a 2000sq ft McDonald’s than at a 200000 sq ft Home Depot. Oh yeah, it’s a great idea to spend tens of thousands of dollars on locking cabinets with which to hide all of your items instead of spending hundreds of dollars on security personnel. At least it doesn’t inconvenience your customers - oh wait yeah it does. All of this this will lead to your undoing - just like Home Base when they tried this same BS in the 90’s.

store is great that it is close, but I often find they don't have the same selection as other home depot locations. the lumber door hours are to short, if you want to pick up anything on your way home for the next day you have to drag it through the entire stores and dodge all the holiday items that are blocking the way down the aisles. Sometime there is so much of it I feel like I am shopping at target not a hardware store.

No question to ask return policy.

I went to the store to pick up some electrical wiring. The electrical wiring is locked up and the only person assigned to electrical was on lunch at 10:45 AM. No other personnel came to help. Finally had the customer service desk staff open the cage. This staff member was luck a supervisor happened to just walk in, so they could get the 🔐. This was after three to four attempts of paging staff to the electrical isle.

This store has proactive staff. We even had people help us in the parking lot! Right now they have a spectacular Halloween area and the kids love it. I recommend a visit just to see it! Also a great gardening area and a person there that seems to actively care for the plants and make displays

Rude and terrible customer service!

I went to buy a specific product which was shown “in-stock” at the Lake Forest location. I did not find one on the exact aisle and shelf indicated on the Home Depot online page. I first asked one of the Home Depot employees I walked by but she said if there was none on the shelf, there was no more. That was it. Later, I saw another Home Depot person, Ethan. When I asked him, he took time and checked if there were still some in-stock. Then he located the products up high on the shelf, still in a box, opened the box, and gave me the number of items I needed. He then unpacked remaining boxes (of the same products), put them on the display(shelf) where customers can access. On top of that, he thanked me for letting him know that the product was not where we could find while they were shown online as “available” in store. He provided me with excellent customer service! He also took care of the situation perfectly as a Home Depot employee in handling the remaining products in-stock. Bravo!!! 👏

Recently and several times in the past I need help, but the employees were too busy talking among them selves

I was shopping for a new fridge. I went to Home Depot on El Toro Rd. After being ignored for about 5 min a lady told me she would help me. She was not friendly and told me they don’t get a commission on sales. I responded too bad because maybe then you would act like you want to help me. She told me that she couldn’t get the model fridg I -wanted so I then went to the Home Depot in Lake Forest. The treatment there was totally different, helpful, friendly and patient. I was able to purchase the same model there.

The employees here were all very welcoming and helpful, but Sean especially helped me FIX MY CAR that broke down in the parking lot. If that's not the most impressive customer service from a hardware store ever, I wouldn't know what is.

WHEN YOU GO TO PRO DESK MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR PHINY. HE GENUINELY CARES ABOUT HELPING CUSTOMERS. I had a delivery issue that conflicted with my plan based on initial delivery home depot gave me. This young man really cared and understood my situation and actually helped to keep the delivery date as promised. We now have all the gravel on site ready for my guys to work tomorrow. If they had the same kind of employee at tool rental I'd give 5 stars.

One of the best Home Depot I have been to.

Jordan helped me grab the drill and impact driver kit I was looking to buy from behind the cage only to realize it was out of stock. He offered to give me the next level up of the same tool set for the same price as the one I was originally going to buy, but couldn’t due to it being out of stock. I appreciate the gesture and will be a customer for years to come.

I went in to the Lake Forest Home Depot frustrated with a plumbing problem. I returned some wrong items and the woman at returns was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Then I went to the plumbing department where Amy assisted me and helped restore my faith in humankind. She was patient and knowledgeable. She showed me how to put together the plumbing pieces I needed to complete my project. I will definitely be going back to this location and I will definitely seek Amy out for any future plumbing projects.

This is one of the best store with professional and helpful staff.
