Helpful staff....sometimes no full service cashiers available...self check-out only....aaaaacccckkkk

Had a great experience here at this store and saved on the sales tax as well. We live between Brandon and Lakeland and this store is easier for us to access and saved us a little in tax now that Hillsborough has gone to 8.5%. Our sales rep was so good, competent and one of the most helpful we have had in a long time. Her name is Karen, and she really went above and beyond to help us purchase what we needed for a new home purchase. She saved me so much work and hassle- Thank you so much and especially for our $100 off for opening a new account, every bit helps when you have much to buy. Highly recommend. D. True

This store is set up very well and everything is easy to find. Didn't wait long in check out line everything about this store was very convenient.

I would not recommend this store because I can never find people to help me. So many look away when you try and make contact with them. I’ve been there at least six times since we’ve been back to Florida and it happens most of the time. The CHECK OUT STAFF WERE WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY. I wish the people working in the other departments were as nice. I live in Wisconsin half the time and I would give that store 5 stars. This store doesn’t even come close in customer service. I don’t know if all departments are like this, but the building supplies area is the departments I have used the most.

I would definitely recommend this store because the customer service is so helpful. They win hands down over the local competitor because of terrible customer service or should I say LACK OFF. I recently went to Home Depot for water softner salt and was treated with quick service, helpfulness and courtesy. Home Depot knows how to treat its customers right!!

I particularly like this location as they are always very helpful. I take my dad on his annual birthday trip and let him pick out whatever he wants from the store. I also go at least once a month for household cleaning supplies and service parts for appliances.

My husband and I were looking for specific paint colors. The sales associate in the paint department was excellent. He gave us tips and recommended paint that will meet our needs in our home.

Every time I shop at Home Depot I walk away very pleased with my visit. I find the employees very friendly and are ready to assist in any way they can. It is appreciated because it makes my visit less stressful.

My experience at the North Lakeland Home Depot was excellent. A non-department person assisted me with chosing items needed while calling for someone that worked in the department to help me. She was very attentive and friendly. The young man who assisted me was wonderful also. He was informative about the extended warranty and if I had concerns with my appliances, I had 48 hours to report it. He even highlighted it for me. Both associates could not be more friendly nor more helpful than they were. Thank you North Lakeland for hiring wonderful and caring people.

I have been a customer of Home Depot for many years, and have never been disappointed. Someone is always available to help. I walked directly to the product I wanted. The heavy part of my purchase was loaded into my car for me. There was no clutter anywhere.

This HD is not the closest home improvement store to me but it's my favorite because I always have a great experience here. Employees are helpful and friendly and the love their jobs. Very rare nowadays. I consider this my home store.

The store was clean and organized as always...there was a cashier (Bernice) who helped us on Sunday 23 Dec 2018. She was very knowledgeable in checking us out , remembered to offer the AARP discount., I have seen her in the past and she always is personable with a smile on her face. I know her supervisor must be proud of the light she shines on the Home Depot Store.

This Home Depot has literally THE WORST customer service out of all of the Home Depot’s in my area. My husband and I went to South Lakeland Home Depot (which was a GREAT experience) however they didn’t have enough of the one item we need, but they VERY HELPFULLY checked the surrounding stores and found that this North Lakeland location had more than enough of this item that was needed. When we get to this location it took us at least 5-7 mins to find an associate to help us, which if you’ve ever been to the South Lakeland store you know you can’t walk one aisle over without being asked if you need help again. So once we get an associate to “help” get the rest of the item we need as they only had about half on the self, he aimlessly and with no since of being on ANYONE else’s time, goes to find a different associate to help. Well this man comes over and literally doesn’t look at us, speak to us or acknowledge our presence in any way. He then scans the barcode and starts walking up and down the aisle looking for this item. The original “helper” overheard me say to my husband that we were going to need the flatbed cart and doesn’t even offer to go get one for us, once I return with the cart he literally leans against the shelf and proceeds to watch my husband load the flat cart with half of this semi bulky/awkward item and not once offers to do it for him or even help. The associate that went to look for the remainder of the item comes back and says they “can’t find them” and proceeds to scan the barcode on the shelf again and shows us that he has 22 in stock, and again expresses he just can’t find them and says he will look one more place and walks away. The original associate still just leaning against the shelf then watches my husband and I unload this flat cart and not offer to help or do it for us, and then watched us load multiple of a similar more expensive may I add, item that we had to settle on. We began rolling our carts to the front with no offer of help from the associate. Once we made it to the register the cashier starts pitching the store card to us which we decline and inform her we already have one. She then asks when we got it, we tell her about two years ago... the cashier literally says “well the interest rate from then was higher and now they are offering __% (I cant remember the exact amount) so if your credit is good you could get a better interest rate and you are allowed to have 2 cards”. Why on God’s green earth would I want TWO home depot credit cards. They are obviously told to pitch the cards to everyone which is fine I understand that, however don’t push it on me once I tell you I have a card with you guys already and offer bad life/credit advice.... I am SO extremely disappointed with the service we were provided at this location and will do everything in our power to not have to return. This experience makes us not even want to deal with the South Lakeland store just because of how horrible everything was at the North Lakeland location. Home Depot really needs to either hire associates that have better customer service skills or provide better training!!! A response from a superior at this store/company to know this won’t go unnoticed would be greatly appreciated!!

I was in the market for kitchen sink and faucet replacement. Staff members were very helpful. Barbara, in kitchen design, made arrangements with contractor to do the job at my home. Worked out great.

Bought an awesome chandelier and am very satisfied with the service.
