The employees are very helpful to help you find what you are looking for. The prices are competitive with other stores with similar products.

These guys are organized and pleasant. They are professional. I have been in the store several times recently, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They share their knowledge, go out of their way to assist and are cheerful. Laurie Bryan helped a few days ago in the paint department. She showed me the best tools to use, and gave several tips on proper technique to insure a good finish job. She spent a lot of time answering questions. She was cheerful and encouraging. Emily is great at the check out. The store is well stocked, well run and is a good place to get what you need without wasting time.

Your cashier Karen is amazingly accurate and moves folks through fast. The only problem I have is the fact that you have cut back on cashiers expecting folks to check themselves out. I don't work for you but if you want me to cashier for you I'd be happy to but I charge $300 dollars an hour at my business to mediate for people. My recommendation for this store is to hire a management team that is on the floor and visible at all times. A high turnover of employees suggests to me that you have some serious management problems. Your hardware department should pay a little more attention to empty shelves and out of stock materials. Do you have anyone that oversees this area? The only reason I would ever recommend this particular store is a result of the service and friendliness of the very few older employees that know the store and are willing to help.

Megan the customer service manager made me feel valued, appreciated and helped. She made my price adjustment, return and pick up experience simple, trusted and very rewarding. We need more Megan's at the front line. She is amazing!!!

My wife and I have used the Layton, Utah Home Depot since its opening. It is by far the best Home Improvement Store in the State. The management over the years has been outstanding, the store associates have always be of great help, always smiling and a happy employee equates to Happy customers, which we are each time we visit the store. Pass our sincere appreciation to the Best Home Depot in Utah.

Terrible place to shop. Won’t come out to help you load up your truck after purchase a heavy item. Asked twice for help never received help. Store doesn’t care. Asked for store manager info but they can’t give out email address. Store management doesn’t care to hear from their customers.

I shop at this store frequently and the best part of it for me is the customer service, friendliness, and how much the employees are happy and willing to help with any questions. I do believe that this stores employees really do go out of their way to help their customers. I also like that it is close to my residence and has fair pricing.

The people here are always helpful, from explaining product differences, to advice on how to do things... and online they tell you what aisle and bin the products are in, so you can make a list and zip right through the store...

The store is neat, organized, and has the material in places for easy access. If all associates are busy with other customers, I have access to the latters to access the product as long as I don't have to use the latter.. that takes me to inventory stock. I always ask for help in those situations. Inventory is usually visible from the floor so when I ask for assistance, I will not waste the associates time, and he or she can access the material easily with either the latter or forklift if needed. Most of the material is within my reach and can be easily acquired.

Employees are young, helpful, but lack experience. If you know what you want and can find it, this place is for you.

The store is nice, you have a 65 good to 35 bad chance of getting an employee who will go the extra to help you, not just appease you. If you get a chance, Michael in hardware is one of the people who will help, and important note here, if he does not know the answer, he finds someone for you that does. Steve in freight will try to his a ability to get you what you need. I've dealt with others that sometimes make you feel like you are bothering them or putting them out.

This is my go to store when I need a tool or parts for my projects. They have what I need when I need it.

Don't bother trying to get help in the cabinet section. I asked for help with pricing of cabinets and was told that only one associated was trained in figuring cabinet prices and she doesn't work on Sunday. I was then able to find the prices myself online. When I asked if someone could help me with pricing, the associate responded, "not really". So lame.

This is the worst Home Depot location in Utah! This store uses The Retail Equation refund verification system which denied the return of a damaged $24.99 wheeled tote within 5 minutes of the purchase and discovery of the damage. Don't expect your money back at this store if you unknowingly purchase a damaged item. Carlos the manager will tell the returns cashier to tell you there is nothing he can do for you.

This store is a mess! It is impossible to maneuver around all of the equipment and inventory that is always blocking the aisles. They used to be really attentive to helping you if they saw you searching around. Now the just ignore you! Been spending a lot more at Lowe’s lately!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I actually had to leave the checkout to go find the price of a plywood panel I bought. Upon returning I told the cashier it was his responsibility to find the price of the item, a second employee then told me if I wanted that done I needed to ask.

Casey and the other team members at the Pro Services counter are incredible. They are there to help you save money, track your purchases, and so much more. I can't believe I didn't take advantage of this amazing FREE service years earlier. Whether you are a big time contractor, or the growing DIY person improving you own space, I would highly recommend talking to this team today!
