needed lumber cut. couldnt find an associate & when did he was not very friendly.

I like that the self check out is available and speeds up getting done when you only have a small item to purcahse.

The associates at Home Depot are much friendlier and available than at Lowe's. The store is cleaner and lines are never as long. They seem to appreciate your business as opposed to you doing them a favor by spending money in their store.

A person used to have to find an associate to help them in the store. Now the associates seek the customer out and usually has answers to questions. If they can't help you then they will find someone that can. Great change for a great store.

She even came to my car to help me with what to buy and how to install a product to solve a problem I have.

Good store, good products, good employees. Suggestion: Hire parttime or full retired professionals that could do trainings or seminars for the public. Example: I am a forester with landscape experience. I could lead a class or workshop on blending the forest with the residence landscape. Example: Never cut an irrigation trench line across tree root areas. Tree is forever damaged or injured.
