NEVER try calling the ProDesk unless you like aggravation and frustration. They never pick up the phone, eventually after being tossed around from dept to dept, you get hung up on. This is every time, not once in a while. Where do the workers go to get your online order pickup? Between waiting at Customer Service to do the paperwork and then them getting your products, it's way faster to just go in and buy the stuff.

Needed a few things for my spring clean up and they were in different departments. A team member helped me locate my product and there was plenty of options to choose from. He was very accommodating.

Bought a rug for the rental property that’s exactly what I needed

I went to purchase three items in the PVC pipe area. A staff quickly offered help and he was able to find the exact items I needed very fast!

Could not get assistance to speak to someone regarding deferred billing on my current purchase. I was passed from aisle help to front cash attensants to customer service then back to checkout. Then the nightmare of why my card was on hold without notification. Fraud department took it upon themselves to freeze account simply because they saw I changed phone carrirers last month. Neglecting to tell me. after painstaking verification process the account was unlocked and purchase was made but no deferred billing.

Home Depot usually has some very experienced "Dad" employee that knows everything about whatever you're looking for and looking to do with. They tend to have experienced trades people in their ranks - look for the one with the suspenders and glasses - they're usually the Guru you need so you don't buy the wrong thing! Trust me.

It makes no sense just to move the light bulbs from the location they had been for years

There is only self checkout and checkout area is awful/unergonomic to use. It would fine if it was a conscience store.

I love shopping at the Manchester, CT Home Depot. Great vibe for me, customer service is solid and employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

I was greet immediately and 3 or 4 members asked to assist me.

I needed light bulbs for out dining room chandelier and there was an employee nearby who showed us exactly where they were. Another employee was able to tell us where to find DCon as the mice are coming in the attic and our children can hear them scurrying around. We had a question about cat litter and the same employee was able to find in her scanner that they did carry cat litter but only online. The location is handy and it is easy to get in and out. There is plenty of parking. All the employees I've encountered were knowledgeable and friendly. Nice place to shop.

I buy electrical items that are locked up and there are far more expensive items that are there for the taking.

I didn't and was accused of making up a discount once at customer service. I guess they can sit on those products they can't sell in the discount bin a little longer, since they are now returned. I'll just plan ahead better and pay less at online outlets from now on.

Unfortunately every order seems to have some sort of issue. There are constant conflicts between web inventory and store. Sometimes takes DAYS to fulfill on-line order and they no longer allow self pick. Last 4 deliveries had mistakes (wrong product, wrong quantity, wrong delivery date) Unfortunately this is the closest hardware store and my remodeling business doesn't allow me to NOT shop here.

Right tools and hardware at the right price. Accurate inventory so I can search online and find in store without any issues. Friendly staff. Fast checkout.

I CANNOT BELIEVE how far my opinion of HD has dropped SO MUCH over the years! I used to be a walking advertisement for these guys! No more. 1. Know-nothing employees - if you can even find one. Remember the days when they had knowledgeable employees anxious to help everyone?? 2. Locked tool cabinets - must be their "sales prevention" department. D.U.M.B. Not much of a selection anyway, so maybe that doesn't matter. 3. Rigid\HD partnership frustrating and useless. Below average tools that take FOREVER to service. No wonder there's a LT Warranty - it wakes that long to get anything fixed! (I'd add a video, but it would overwhelm this server)

Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Millie in the Customer Service Return Dept. recently. I have never encountered such a rude, unprofessional individual. It's unfortunate Home Depot allows someone of this nature to represent their company. Very unforunate.

Might be an outlier event, but I experienced a very unpleasant attitude from a return cashier. The return was eventually completed. I don't do many returns so maybe this is true of other locations as well, but, I will avoid this particular Home Depot for this reason.

The Manchester Home Depot always has what I need in stock and has friendly, helpful associates. It’s always easy to find someone to help when needed.

The place to be if you are looking to be ignored as a customer. If the employees can break away from their fbomb conversations with each other long enough to assist, they are annoyed. Products all over the place, aisles full of carts, ladders.Otherwise great.

From Murray in plumbing to Davon in the door department to Tolland helping in flooring and Kristin working the Pro cashier I was truly grateful for all their help. I keep coming back to this store they have the best employees the know the store and are always so helpful doesn’t matter which department they are in they will help you find what your looking for or the person who can. I highly recommend Manchester Home Depot for all your building needs!

They have a new store manager that is rude and dismissive and seems too busy to deal with a customer issue in a professional way. The store is fine as long as you don’t have a problem with a purchase.
