Amy was amazing to work with. She helped us design and remodel a small kitchen that turned out wonderful.

Aaron in lumber helped me get all the building material needed to build a shed. He spent a lot of time helping me select, load and guide me along. Kris in hardware helped me select some great tools and the right materials. Grateful for all their help, the project turned out great! 👍

There is always someone on staff to give expert advice. I search out my favorite in the Kitchen area, Amy, whenever I have a project. I just completed replacing my kitchen countertops and am so happy with the results! Thanks, Amy, for your help!

I came in to make a large purchase and was told to go to cutomer service for check out, two women at the desk were talking stories with another employee avoiding helping customers. They made eye contact but was not helpful in getting the sale closed. I ended up leaving the store and calling the store manager. Taylor was very helpful and apologized and closed the sale. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning to this store.

Shopping at several stores in my area, this store had the most heathy and robust plants. It has been hot and the staff were doing their job watering, etc. Good selection of plants and veggies.

Online advertised pricing should apply to in store purchases as well.

I had an embarrassing experience at Home Depot. During self-checkout, I inadvertently missed scanning one item amidst the chaos of my three-year-old son throwing a tantrum and a line of customers waiting behind us. Upon being stopped and accused of stealing two items, I apologized for the mistake and offered to pay for the missed item. However, I was instructed to leave the store immediately and was denied re-entry. When I questioned the severity of this response, I was threatened with trespassing if I failed to comply. I found this treatment to be unacceptable and reflective of poor customer service from Home Depot's security team.

Employees everywhere walking around , but the 2 guys at customer service were swamped and had a line of customers. The communication was lack luster. The employee didn’t even explain the procedure following the online purchase.

I create paintings for my family. Home Depot helps me with framing wood, and Masonite boards as a stretcher!

I always find very helpful employees who take time to show me the locations of items and who give me good advice for my project.

Stay away from her Maplewood store the employees are clueless two employees sent me from one end of the store and back again. The a third employee tried to sign my up for accredit card. Management should spend more time training the employees on the store and less time on credit card accounts

A few years.. 5 or more.. this store was nothing special. Over the recent years, and especially during the last couple, the store has gotten employees that seem to care. And I think they are stressing customer service in their training more. I tend to go there early in the morning to avoid the lines, the lack of carts, and to fulfill my need to get things done. (So maybe the employees haven't been beaten down yet from long days, and the pressure of being "on".) But they are almost always cheerful, helpful, and know what they are talking about. There have been a couple exceptions, but after a couple questions those have almost always said "wait, let me get someone who knows this department better". And if they are not pressed for time they will also stand there and listen to the expert. A shout out to Brad in flooring who took the time to walk me through what I would need to accomplish something I had never done before. It turned out great. And Marlys at the pick-up desk by the front door. She made my day start a whole lot better recently. Generally, almost everybody I come in contact with while in the store is helpful, usually happy, and will initiate a contact before I say anything. In other words, the store has improved, and it has been noticed. Thank you.

Every time I come to the Maplewood Home Depot, I am always greeted and asked questions by the associates! I rarely have an issue as most items are on the floor. If not, they assist me in grabbing the item I am looking for

I was so happy with the lot associate, Colin. He helped me load my vehicle and quickly took care of my cart. He was polite and efficient. The staff at The Pro desk were amazing as well, and made sure I had everything I had ordered.

Picked up a toilet early Saturday morning. The young man at checkout asked to help us load it in our suv. Greatly Appreciated.

It would be nice to see the plumbing department staffed with knowledgeable people who can answer questions. There never seems to be anyone working in this department.

I was looking for a what turned out to be a fairly hard item to find, even though it was showing in stock. Stella was super helpful and found it for me, in a very remote bin easy up in the middle of an aisle. I would never have found it without her help, I wish everyone was as diligent at their job as she is.

I recently looked at reviews for a weed whip head and went with the Echo Speed Feed. I couldn't be happier! Also their Behr paint is superior to other brands.

They were the only store that had exactly all the things I needed for my project

A gentleman named Allen helped us tonight at the Maplewood Home Depot. He was super fun but also knowledgeable and helpful.

I had purchased a number of samples for a kitchen project, and while all of them are returnable, NONE of them had any UPC or scannable bar codes. The return guy (sorry I forgot his name!) was extremely patient, and we worked through all of them matching up colors to the photos to complete the return. This could have been a miserable experience elsewhere, and he made it painless with plenty of chuckles.

Me being a general contractor, I visit almost every home depot around MN. This home depot, by far, has the most personable, friendly, yet knowledgeable employees out of them all. Very satisfied with every visit

Assistant Manager Taylor has got to be one of the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. Thankful that he was there to help me on my most recent shopping trip and still in awe by his work ethics and overall attitude. Also, I found this location to be noticeably cleaner than most. I didn’t run into ANY empty boxes or piles of random merchandise, like I normally do when shopping at a Home Depot. Something else I noticed was that there weren’t groups of associates congregating throughout, which was refreshing! The ones that weren’t busy seemed approachable and friendly. Something I can’t stand about Home Depot is their checkout situation and their bags. Who designed that set up and how did it get approved!!! I’m starting to think it has to be intentional. How do you expect a customer to check them selves out with a set up that only provides a little 10”x10” flimsy area for scanned merchandise and bags that INSTANTLY RIP?! You have to purchase a bucket just to transport your goods but I can’t possibly store another bucket in my apartment. Yes, apartment—-try carrying a load of Home Depot stuff up to an apartment in a bag made of the most rip-able thin plastic ever invented. (I’d be more than happy to help ya’ll come up with new checkout stations, I have retail management experience, design experience, am a self proclaimed engineer and most importantly-I have first had valuable customer perspective. Ha ha). I don’t prefer Maplewood but I will probably frequent more now that I know they’ve got this top tier Home Depot location! Definitely will be using this location for any major projects just because I have a greater level of trust and respect after having met the one manager..I can’t imagine some like that would work for and with a subpar crew, I’d be willing to bet he could get a job anywhere, so it definitely says something about the store.

Is nice that I can usually find what I need pretty quickly. Very helpful and nice staff! Stella helped me find the item I wanted and was very nice.

I can find everything I need at this store. If there is something I can't find, the employees are very friendly and help me find it.

Before you sign a contract and hand over your credit card, make sure the materials you selected are actually available. Question everything you're told (especially by the plumbing subcontractor) and double check all details, like dates and estimates. Mistakes seem to happen at a high rate of frequency
