this store is awesome and everyone is friendly and helpful. the store is always organized and you can find most of everything you are looking for in this store. the self checkouts are very nice and lines do not get that long. the store is always clean and put out the warnings when a mess is made.

Whenever I have a situation that requires expert advice from knowledgeable sales people, I can count on the folks at Home Depot. I am in no way the best or biggest customer, however, I am treated as if I were, which keeps me coming back to this store. Kudos to Home Depot and their entire staff.

I Found A Special Sized Toilet That We Needed For Our Home ,Built In The 1960's. It Measured 10 Inches From The Wall To The Drain! Lowe's No Longer Carries That Size! Our Entire Development Needs That Size Toilet! Hundreds Of Homes In My Development Alone Have That Size! I Replaced Our Two Bathroom Toilets Three Times Already!

We have purchased many things from Hope Depot. We were interested in folding stairs for the attic.We made an appointment for one of your contractors to come and measure and install the steps. He never showed even though the secretary called to confirm the day before. After the allotted time I called and was told that he came by. We were home all day - he never showed. Then was told he didn't have to come to the house because he does this all the time and the stairs are all standard size and quoted us $400 if we purchased the stairs and he installed and $600 if he purchased the stairs and he installed. I was supposed to receive a quote via e-mail - I never did. The e-mail was even repeated back to me. We ended up purchasing the stairs elsewhere and had them installed at a much reduced price and they did an awesome job. Sorry you lost the sale and possibly a good customer.

Great Store. People are friendly

My experience here today was extremely pleasant! Loved the light humor of the employees and the fact that they were always visible and willing to help. I only have two issues with this store. A high pressure appliance salesman in the past - so much so that when I went home, I immediately canceled the transaction. And secondly the military discount is not honored for sale items as their competitor does. Other than that, I'm pleased with the overall experience. These are the only two reasons I am only giving them a 4 star.

This is the first hardware store where I feel almost like I'm hanging out with friends. Everyone seems so friendly and helpful. Wish I could get a Home Depot credit card to purchase home needs.

Great customer service as well as personal service. When I did not know which glue to use to glue a wooden drawer back together, not only did the sales person tell me what isle it was in but she showed up after a minute to help me figure out which glue I needed. Also, the sales person in the kitchen counter top area took time to explain the difference in several granite counter tops on display, and how to seal granite and care for it. I appreciated her taking the time out to explain and she definitely knew the products.

Had some trouble at the self checkout and was met with an unbelievably condescending and rude attitude from the attendant there. She even had the nerve to laugh at us as we were leaving.

Home Depot, especially Mentor, Ohio Store, has consistently provided my needs on home improvement, remodeling, gardening, or any other project requirements. No need to go anywhere else.

The store itself is well laid out, and the products are easy to find. My only issue is that I was trying to buy a toilet and installation, and I had no idea that I needed to go to Kitchen/Bath to have that done. It took 3 trips and 2 phone calls to find that out. Your employees need to recognize when a customer does not even know what questions to ask, so they could direct me to Kitchen/Bath for the "experts" to assist. They should also refrain from making up answers if they are not sure. Once I knew where to go and how to get help, it went well. The department manager (I believe), named John, was courteous, helpful, and apologetic about the problems I had initially. The installation of the toilet was done efficiently, and the plumber was courteous.

The Mentor store has been my husband's and my favorite Home Depot store for years. Customer service has been excellent. The store is always neat, and items are easy to find. On my recent visit, I was given good suggestions re. fixing my snowblower -- only $10.66 for two products and worth a try.

By far, best store of the five that I frequent. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable employees. But most importantly, the best Manager, Greg. Always on the floor. ONLY. Let me repeat.ONLY Manager that I see at any store. For as much as I wish to laud him and the store, there are other stores that need a lot of help.
