Kind of a trashy store.

Many products are out of stock, but there system says they have some inventory, so it doesn't reorder. Big problem! The quality of there products has gone down... and down. When you look at a sheet of plywood the price is up and the thin top layer is thinner. There is no quality to their product, only convenience that they might have something. It is a sad statement to the idea that they believe that their consumer will just accept a mediocre product.

THERE ARE SO MANY KIOSKS AND RETAIL ITEM STANDS IN THE AISLES ITS impossible to pick up lumber and plumbing pipe. They constantly fill this store with so much marketing junk and other garbage irrelevant to a building supply facility. AND several times I've bothered to check online to be sure they have something in stock, then when I go there, after finding nothing and waiting half an hour for help it turns out they don't have the item anywhere. Somehow their inventory is all wrong. And their plant selection sucks. They make no effort to sell plants that best fit the local ecosystem. Everything is generic, like freaking petunias. They don't sell things I want like honeysuckle, frost tolerant avacado, curly leaf resistant fruit trees, hibiscus, stevia or a dozen other things they should.

Do not buy flooring from them.

I buy a variety of things in store and online and the products are good quality and the employees are very helpful.

The young man who was called to help me put a 8' 4x4 post into my car was not very helpful. I am a 75 yr old woman and was struggling to get the cart holding the post to move in the direction of my car. This young man didn't ask if I needed help with the cart. I was not impressed with this employee.

It had been awhile since I was last in Home Depot Napa and I was really surprised at how clean and organized it was. An employee also welcomed us in as we entered the store, that was the first time ever. Something definitely has changed at this location for the better. I was impressed and hope the store continues this direction.

If you want some basic hardware stuff, sure, go to HD. Just don't expect anyone to help you find it. And if you want to order services, or big ticket items like appliances or counters, go somewhere, anywhere, else.

Our new kitchen remodel was a bit of effort on both our part and the Home Depot Designer but the extra time to details paid off. Our only comment is we had to wait a long time and when some of the cabinets arrived two were damaged and Designed forgot some key pieces - delaying installation.

I shopped in our Napa California Home Depot when the appliance department was very busy, but the service I received from Keith Kinsey was exceptional. So many choices! Keith was attentive and pleasant and helped me decide between several options. The buying process was smooth and I feel I've made the best decision for my needs and budget.

They go out of their way to be helpful.

So easy to return things if not the right size. Staff are so nice with pleasing personality. Convenient to shop in Napa. Good buys.

I'm a contractor and I have used this store regularly since it opened. I know it so well that I can find most any product without the help of an employee. The store is usually well stocked with items that I need. It would be nice if more employee manned check stands were open.

The NAPA Store has really lousy management and service !! IN AND EMERGENCY MY WIFE TRIED TO CALL ME AT THE STORE AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE AFTER 30 MINUTES OF TRYING !!! I am through giving they my business !!

Jose and his delivery partner were fantastic for delivering and installing the LG stackable washer/dryer unit. They communicated when they would be arriving and listened to our questions and recommendations for installation route. They installed and tested the unit and answered specific questions from our plumber who was present for the install. Jose answered the plumber's questions to his satisfaction.

After ordering a product I received a phone call 2 days later saying it was no longer available. I bought the item somewhere else.

Purchased a new toilet and installation. Have been waiting for 3 days to get the install scheduled. Called the store and was told the installer hasn't reached out to them so they could let me know. Upon closer inspection of the invoice, the install can happen anywhere from 8/26/24 - 11/24/24. That's totally unacceptable.

Home Depot has been my first choice whenever I have a project

Sales Person SMA2GVV is the finest employee I've worked with at the Napa HD.

I bought an expensive sink and left it with my plumber to install into quartz counters. Turns out the sink in the box was the wrong one so instead of a 36" sink, I got a 28 inch so had to tear out all the quartz & start over. $5000 screw up by Home Depot due to laziness. They pit the wrong sink back in the box.

This store is a mess and inventory is in complete disarray. My time is valuable and I shouldn't have to spend it combing through items to find what I need.

Many times people like me come into stores like Home depot and become instantly overwhelmed. Nope, not here! Great customer service from top down and the aisle were so clean.

It appears that perhaps this store is understaffed with employees. The employees are young and seem to lack knowledge of excellent customer service that Home Depot cares about. For instance, walk the customers to the location of products they are searching for, never ignore a person who has waited a long time in line- say "We'll be right with you", have their cell phone on them to look up location and price of products, and the protocol for summoning help for a customer if they cannot solve the problem. Perhaps more detail in training employees to know the location of where products are located, and how to handle customers who need help through giving them problem-solving scenarios they learn before they start their first shift. In other words, make sure that they have all the tools necessary to look products up in case they do not know where something is. Supervisors should make sure that the employee is ready to work with all the tools needed to do their job.

Rosali the cashier was a hero at this store in Napa especially. The "Loader" (and there was only one which was woefully short handed) and another in Lumber were good also but there was a clear shortage of employees and my visit was over two hours and at least one more than it should have been.

If I could recommend a cahier at a Home Depot this guy would be the one. Although I cannot include his name because it is not on the receipt to personally address him put he pointed out the best was to pour coolant with spilling from the bottle and was very friendly and useful. He was great. The stock of Home Depot would be in the 1000's with cashiers like this.

Brian and flooring was exceptional

Give me a break, the whole World has this feature, only H Depot does not

The checkout clerk Rosali was very thorough and acknowledged request for discount on damaged items. Very efficient and knowledgeable about services which made for a great checkout experience.
