Excellent garden center. My only go-to garden center in Chicago. Something for all year long. This was last year. I have already started this year.

Gina was the reason that I bought cabinets and countertop at HD. She was very knowledgeable about the products and features and spent considerable time and effort to design the kitchen that I wanted.

Your delivery company arrived at the job address today and refused to delivery and install my new range as scheduled. The guy Jose, from XPO called his manager and told him/her he would not install my range. The installer wasn’t trained properly to turn the gas valve off and install the range.

I was so happy to see this Rare Plant ,” Alocasia Jackyln” in good shape, I bought two .I always find Rare Plants at this location. AAlways happy to travel here .excellent customer service too.

I went to this HD looking for rare plants and found one ,”Monstera Peru “ Which was on my wish list . As cold as it was that day ,it was worth the trip .I bought two .I wish I had more money cause they had nice selection.

Management is either incompetent or doesn’t care. I was not greeted upon entry or at any other point. I walked around until I could find an employee to ask for help finding a lamp and they did not have a radio or communication device so we walked to an area where they requested that someone come help me in the aisle where the lamps are. I went back to that aisle and looked around there for about 30 minutes waiting for an employee to show up. No one ever showed. So I went to customer service to and asked to speak to the manager. I told her how long I waited for someone to show up and that they never did after another employee called over the intercom for someone to come help me. The manager did offer to help me in that section and was polite but never apologized for my wait time and never noted that several employees were just standing around talking amongst themselves rather than helping customers. I do not feel the manager cares and don’t feel comfortable shopping at a store where my concerns are ignored. I spent $254, so maybe not the largest purchase, but I should have been given the respect to come when I called for help, and apologize for my excessive wait time when nobody ever showed up. Super poor management at this location.

Hilda was great with customer service live and in person and had a list to followup with me the next day.

I found what I needed and it worked out well

Greeted when we entered and were asked by five different people if we needed assistance. People went out of their way to be helpful. Checkout was a breeze and we were thanked for our business.

One of the cleaner and better stocked HomeDepots in the area. Often has some of the more obscure product lines (tile, window, door) that aren't available in other HDs. Appliance personnel here are generally more helpful.

I was offered tiny boxes sized 3"x3" for my 4 quarts of paint, paint brushes and sandpaper. The staff was completely unwilling to find larger boxes or help in any way. Terrible service and attitude.

I got the best deal on a new washer!

You’ll rarely find anyone to help you so don’t go unless you know exactly what you want. Not ideal for regular homeowners. Even though they page someone for assistance, no one came.

The gentleman who organized my purchase was very knowledgeable in the details of the transaction.. From ordering, billing and delivery this guy was sharp and gave the best service anyone could expect! True story. From January 2025

I have been a Home Depot customer for years but due to starting a new rehab business full time I have had to become a frequent flyer. Meeting Sylvia was so awesome, and she has been a great help. The rest of the staff has done a great job assisting me with understanding what services you provide and how I can do more as a Pro member. I'm excited and have already made some great purchases with excellent savings.

Nice store but really big for nothing

I needed to order custom blinds and had absolutely outstanding experience with Bianca

Absolutely disgusting behavior by one of the staff, Kiara A. Have been shopping here for years as is local and convenient for light bulbs etc. Recently did see a down turn in customer service but made no issue of it. Today was accused by Kiara that I stole a 99 cent paper towel roll? She stood there with her arms crossed while I checked out a cart full of boxes and cleaning supplies for my cleaning ladies. After I checked our and paid over $120, she walked over then and said “ You pay for those paper towel?” Snatches the receipt and says loudly to the other workers and customers, she trying to steal this paper towel roll! Was never so disgusted by someone’s behavior and lack of class. When myself and other customers stated she didn’t need to be so rude Kiara started screaming” Bye Bye honey! Get out of here!” Repeatedly. Spoke to management Kathy but they were clearly not going to take action. Clearly not someone who should be working in service or be around others in any capacity.

Jennifer at the cashier spot is very helpful

I am a Realtor, always on the go with very little time to waste and Jennifer is just what the doctor ordered to get me in/out of Home Depot in no time! She exemplifies what excellent customer service is all about. From the moment I approached the counter, she greeted me with a warm and genuine smile that instantly made me feel welcome. Her attentiveness and understanding of my needs were exceptional. She diligently resolved an issue I had, demonstrating both efficiency and a sincere willingness to help. Jennifer's professionalism and positive attitude are exactly what is needed for a successful establishment. As a cashier, she is truly the pulse of the retail operation, and her exemplary service enhances the overall shopping experience. I believe management should use Jennifer as a model for how customer service should be conducted. Her dedication and competence set a high standard for others to follow. Kudos to Jennifer!
