Amanda, service representative in the appliance section at the Hixson, TN store was extremely helpful in resolving my issue with an extremely damaged cooking range that was delivered to my home by the delivery service.

Was a very busy day with the big sale on mulch and flowers but the employees were friendly and helpful

I make purchases from this store several times a week, and the staff always is friendly and helpful.

I PURCHASE LOTS FROM HOMEDEPOT. MY FAVORITE STORE.

Paid for tile on Wednesday for contractor to pick up Monday. All tile was in stock when I paid for it then on Friday got an email that the tile would not arrive until Thursday so now have a contractor waiting on the tile to finish the master bath. They need to pull the order when it is paid for and hold it for pickup. So they either lied that it was in stock or sold the tile I had already paid for.

I ordered a dishwasher with delivery, hual away, and Installation. A crew came out and refused to remove the old dishwasher or install the new one. When I spoke with their manager about their unwillingness to work they got upset at me in my home. They finally took the old one away but didn't install the new one. Home Depot sent another crew out to install the dishwasher. Turns out the dishwasher was leaking! Called customer service agent. "Oh we're so sorry'. We'll send you a replacement and make sure you are compensated Okay fine so I wait for yet another crew to come out.... Guess what?! Another busted dishwasher!!! They have to take both dishwashers away! Three weeks into this and still don't have anything I paid for. So I call customer service. I ask them for the compensation I was promised and they tell me they can't do anything unless the order is completed! I have to wait for yet another dishwasher! So I ask for my money back because why would I want a dishwasher that has been broken twice! I go back to the store as instructed and I select a different dishwasher. It takes another week to arrive but everything goes okay and I call customer service for my compensation. You know what they offered?! $29 off a $600 purchase! After over an hour on the phone and having to negotiate a "fair deal" I finally walked away with an unsatisfactory $74. I really felt fair compensation would have been to comp the service fee but Home Depot didn't even acknowledge that the poor service reflects on them because the delivery team are contractors.... Really?! Who selected that team to provide the services? Was it Home Depot? Oh, yes, it was! Well listen here Home Depot! I do believe that poor service provided by contractors reflects on you and the poor customer service after the fact definitely reflects on you. I won't be back and I'm going to tell everyone how awful that experience was. Thanks for nothing!

Employees were helpful. But I find the self check out a joke. prices have gone up on everything and I find it insulting that I have to check myself out. It never works correctly and you always had to get somebody anyway. The employees there are very helpful. It’s not their fault retailers have put this on the consumer..

I rented a trencher from the Chattanooga Home Depot off Hixson Pike. I received the best service from all of the employees I have ever experienced.

The staff was exceptional in meeting my needs, I think they went over and beyond in assisting me.

I was given a discount on a vacuum because the one I wanted was no longer being sold. But the one they gave me a discount on was even better than the one I wanted. I was so happy, and I told my client what Home Depot staff did for me and they were ecstatic as well. I love this north Chattanooga Home Depot location very much. I despise Fort Oglethorpe location and try to avoid it at all costs thank you Home Depot for making my day!

Was Christmas decoration shopping and found what we wanted, but was out of stock… disappointed, the orange vest wearing store helper quickly offered up the floor display! Excellent save!!!

Home Depot has a great variety of products. I wish they had more employees to give assistance and do checkout service.

The lady that took my order knew how to place the order with my special instructions. Could not do this on internet.

We like to shop the Home Depot Hixson, TN location since you can find an employee when you need one. Kim is one special employee who has helped us for years. If the item is not in her area she always finds someone to help us.

Never anyone to help with check out. Scanners have issues. Rarely anyone able to help when you are in the store, I called for help and they left me on hold for twenty minutes then hung up. I had to call back twice and then they told me the associate must be at lunch so call back- they had no way of knowing when the department would be available nor did they have a way of leaving a message. Really??

Looked on line to be sure that it was in stock and where it was located in the store. One of the reasons that I shop at Home Depot. Microwave has been great. Just what I neededd.

As a professional and contractor, I highly recommend the Home Depot and their pro desk services. They are top-tier and customer satisfaction. They know what they’re doing willing to help and as a contractor if there’s something wrong or anything that they are happy to help me fix it highly recommended.

Great service and friendly

I have the opposite of a green thumb. Whenever I buy plants from a nursery, they meet a swift demise upon returning home with me; however, all of my Home Depot plants from this location are thriving! They are well cared for and maintained at this garden center and I almost exclusively shop here for new plants. The staff has helped me select the best pots and styles for my plants on numerous occasions and don’t seem to be bothered when I essentially ask them to shop with me.

Overall, this HD could use some staff retraining on overall the customer experience and engagement. The cashier is one of the last people a customer sees/ interacts with before leaving the store. This experience should be positive and friendly. Self checkouts are the area that tends to lack good customer engagement and overall a lack of positive interactions with HD employees. Management needs to hire better people, train them better and have higher expectations of their employees performance.

I moved here about 3 months ago and this the location I have visited since I got here. The store has always been well maintained and clean. No matter what department I am in I get asked if I need help and check has been very easy and they have almost always had at least 2 cashiers if you don’t like self checkout.

Was able to grab 8-9 items quickly due to the accurate labeling of the aisles in the store

I have yet to have a bad shopping experience here. The store is always clean, the staff friendly, and well stocked with items I need.

Ashley & Bobette are AMAZING, both of these ladies always seem to be in the store when I come in and they always show such energy and passion for taking care of customers. I have NEVER had employees greet me by name and be so attentive, They make coming to THD even more enjoyable. I am so impressed by both of these ladies and how they treat customers!!! Give these ladies a raise!!! They are worth every dollar!!!

Took care of an exchange item for me. Bobette was able to help me after the refund went back onto my wife's credit card and I did not have any money to re-purchase the replacement item. I was very impressed with her attitude that they don't provide products, they provide solutions.

Bought plants and all went good

Needed to make a Home Depot run this week and was very pleasantly surprised when every employee I passed asked if they could help me find anything. When I did need help finding an item I was led to the exact isle. This kind of customer service will make shopping there so much easier and less time consuming.

I went in to look at power tools. I left purchasing a set of power tools and with a Home Depot credit card. Samuel helped me greatly.
