Great store

I love this store and even though we live in Greenwich and we have Home Depot store in Port Chester nearby, we always end up opting to shop at the Norwalk store.

I was trying to install my license plates myself and wanted to use a mount that I purchased. Milton started helping me locate parts and decided to recommend my task to Anthony. Thank you, Milton, for suggesting Anthony's help. Anthony took over, systematically assembled parts, and artfully built the way to attach my license plates beautifully. I was so grateful to have avoided a costly installation and to have it look so professional. I also appreciated his patience while answering my questions. Thank you, Anthony!

Checkout and returns are really efficient and fast. Safety precautions like blocking off aisles for certain procedures were clear, reassuring, meaningful and fast. I could locate stuff easily by shelving aisle and bin on my phone on line when I knew exactly what I need. When I didn't know what I needed or when there weren't enough of something within reach, the staff was genuinely very helpful and gracious and thorough and fast. Looks like a wonderful team of people doing a great job in a very nice place to work. Bravo Norwalk Home Depot!

John in the blinds/shades department was phenomenal. He was personable, knowledgeable, and helped me with 2 custom cut shades to fit my needs. Julia, my cashier was also professional, smiling, and helpful.

This was a short quick trip. Easily found a selection of items that included exactly what was needed. Isle assistance was available and proactive. Cashier was attentive, courteous, fast and accurate. Store is organized, orderly, and clean.

I GET WHAT I NEED, NICE CLEAN STORE VERY FRIENDLY PEOPLE TO SERVICE.

The associates in carpeting are fabulous. Catherine in Customer service is wonderful. Don't try to call the store...it's impossible to get someone to answer. Not impressed with young associate in appliances- ordered wrong fridge even when given specific dimensions- created a problem and waste of time when appliance had to be refused. Associates are helpful in finding things.

Easy in and easy out...got the help I needed and the employees were knowledgeable and pleasant. Would recommend!

I like everything in order

sales person was very knowledgeable, friendly and well informed of all the flooring products. Shay from flooring was my salewomen

John in paints was so knowledgable and helpful. He went out of his way for us, showing us woods, types of paint, lighting effect on paint colors. He was friendly and willing to help!

Very knowledgeable staff and helped from start to finish and while process.

Con: mega sized store, with a bulk-selling / product-moving mindset. Pro: large stock of items on hand. Con: the sales staff is interested in the selling of the product, and you may have to pry out information from them on what other details do I need to know about to do a job right or completely. Con: Sub-contracted out our flooring installation task in Stamford to a carpenter who drove In from New Jersey, and had a difficult communication with the customer. Pro: HD is good if you are willing to make several trips back for items that are forgotten or short in inventory. CON; the sales staff we dealt with did not fully help us understand who would do delivery or what we had to have on site for the installer man for when he showed up.

Great store with amazing staff. Employees seem to be knowledgeable and always try to go above and beyond to satisfy their shoppers. Highly recommended!

The Store is a great place to shop! All Employees are very valuable because of their professional expertise and demeanor. The products are great along with the prices. The Store Security is excellent and it presents a "Healthy" atmosphere (no drama) for shopping. Thank you!

Actually one of the better Home Depos I've been in... lots of employees and at least 1 out of 3 will smile and ask if you need help... my help mostly consists of finding location of some strange item... never have I had an employee not know where something is or if not will definitely go out of way to help find...

The cashier Wilna takes pride in her job and is personable. She is also knowledge about the products and services home depot offers. It's refreshing to have someone like her to deal with when you aren't able to find a particular product or service that you believe that the store provide. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She is the primary reason why i shop there and never at Lowe's (even though i live closer to Lowe's).

My husband and I were happy to meet the man in the wheelchair/scooter who is an employee. We are glad that Home Depot extends their hiring to individuals who may not meet normal criteria. He was a big help to us.
