Not enough features
Even though it has 3 shelves - it doesn’t seem like enough. The cycles take over 3 hours to run. If you have to cancel the load, it doesn’t empty the water out..

        Excellent Customer Service
        I recently purchased a new washer and dryer. The customer service was outstanding! I spoke with two employees who were very knowledgeable about the products. I was also given very detailed information about when my washer and dryer would arrive. Home Depot will install my new appliances and take my old ones away. So easy! Very pleased about this purchase!

            Pets
            Please leave your pet dog at home. They interfere with disabled shoppers with Service Dogs. Disabled shoppers need their Service Dog to help them get out to shop and do normal things. We still can do home improvement work and need to buy supplies. Thank you, Disabled Shopper

              Couldn't find anybody!
              Came into the store. Skeleton staff. No one greeted or seen in the aisles to help find products. Had to ask other customers for assistance.

                    Home Depot in Oregon City Oregon is my "go to" store for pretty much everything home repair related. Especially if I have multiple items that I need. Today I needed interior door knobs and bathroom fixtures. I was greeted with a smile and actually walked to the place to get each item. I walk with a cane & the guy slowed his pace considerably to make me feel comfortable. He then made helpful suggestions about "how to...". Everyone was very positive and professional. I saw a mix of employees from different ethnicities which I also appreciated. Kudos, Home Depot!

                      Never shopped there
                      Never been in the store never purchased anything there, but I continue to get emails asking about my purchase. I gave 1 star because it won't let me give zero or fewer.

                        WHAT HAPPENED TO A GOOD STORE?
                        You force us to use self checkout and if we make a mistake we have to wait unitl your cashier is available. YOU ASSUME THE GENERAL PUBLIC HAS BEEN TRAINED ON BEING A CASHIER - then why do you have 4-5 cashiers standing around doing nothing. I asked one and they have BEGGED TO BE PUT IN ANOTHER DEPT INSTEAD OF STANDING AROUND DOING NOTHING. If you don't want to pay cashiers because its a gross misuse of your company funds - ALSO THE REASON YOU WILL NOT HIRE FULL TIME ASSOCIATES - Then find a way for them to be more involved. Robert is running his own little empire at 4040 - giving snacks and candy to associates so they will think highly of him but not let them advance or try another dept. ALSO HE DOES NOT ENFORCE THE COLLARD SHIRT COMPANY POLICY HE DOES NOT ENFORCE THE NO SWEAT PANTS OR LEGGINGS POLICY EITHER THE NIGHT CREW DOESNT EVEN WEAR APRONS OR DRESS APPROPRIATELY DURING STORE HOURS - WHY HAS THIS COMPANY GONE SO FAR DOWN HILL - WE ONLY SHOP THERE NOW BECAUSE WE CANT GO ANYWHERE ELSE - MARVIN STARTED "CUSTOMER FIRST" - YEAH THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN ANYMORE!!!

                          Employees dont understand self service.
                          Employees regularly without asking take things out of your hands and approach you at self-service. Treat women like they are idiots when they are only buying one or two things. I hate going here and wouldn't when I do not have to.

                            Return policy is ridiculous
                            I have been doing a complete remodel of my property and I spent hundreds of dollars buying needed materials with the expectation that what I did not use I could return for refund. Not realizing there was a 90 day limit to get a refund. So now I have extra left material that wasn’t used that I was returning and in the process was told I was past the 90day deadline. Needless to say I am not happy. I would have even taken a store credit. May have to shop at another store.

                              Awful service in the paint department.
                              On November 22, 2024 at the Oregon City Home Depot I had the worst experience with the tall skinny man with glasses in the paint department. I work night shift and stopped in after work about 0730 am to pick up some interior paint. I do not have a lot of experience buying paint and thought I could just pick up paint already tinted off the shelves. I asked this man who appeared to be working the paint section what I was looking for and he told me they paint doesn't come already tinted. He then walked away and went behind the paint help desk and continued to stare at me. He never offered to show me the different kinds of paint and which ones could be tinted with what so I ended up just asking for a gallon of what I had purchased before online. This was the color I was trying to paint over but this man made me feel so stupid and uncomfortable I just wanted any paint to finish the job. I will never ever go back to the paint department in person. This man was very condescending and clearly has no interest interacting with paint nieve customers.

                                Terrible experience.
                                We ordered flooring through Home Depot after speaking with the flooring specialist for over an hour. When we return to the store, they suggested we have a Home Depot Professional come out to measure the house which we did. We went off the Home Depot’s professional measurement to order our flooring. We paid a discounted price as it was on sale at that time. Several weeks later after the flooring project had begun, we found out we were 152 cases of flooring short. That is a significant variance. I ended up having to pay triple the price of what I originally paid for the flooring to obtain 152 more boxes. This caused my budget to be well over what we had anticipated. After speaking to several managers as well as Flooring specialist, no one would help me out with the pricing or make things right. We went off the flooring measurement Home Depot told us to use when we purchased, and would’ve happily purchased all of the flooring at that time if they would have measured correctly. When we went to pick up our flooring, they actually sold, but we had already paid for and we had to wait an extra two weeks. They also sold us And trim pieces for stairs and also a treads so they over sold us product as well now they will not return without a restocking fee. It seems all the decisions Home Depot pushed us into caused us to spend much more money than we would have if we would’ve just handled it all on our own and never talked to anybody from Home Depot. These upselling techniques are scandalous especially when this company spends so much advertising marketed at diy homeowners claiming to help and support them. All you did was cost us more money than needed to be spent and Lots of additional time wasted

                                          Frustrating Experience
                                          This store has gone to all self checkout except for the Pro Desk. If you want impersonal, computerized service , this is the store for you. I will choose to go shop at someplace where I can get some human interaction while checking out.

                                            I recently visited your Oregon City store to stain our weathered front door, which faces the sun. Initially, I was advised to use a water-based stain, but it turned out blotchy. I returned and spoke with Annie, who suggested a better approach: rough and fine sanding, a primer, a gel stain applied with a lint-free cloth, and a spray sealer. Following her guidance, the door came out perfect.

                                                Worst experience
                                                Everything that could go wrong did. I do not recommend buying flooring from Home Depot it was an absolute disgYer including them “selling” my order I had already paid for after waiting weeks for my materials to finish remodel in my house. They gave partial order to my contractor and when he produced receipts they told him it was all there several times. Later we find 92 missing cases along with trim and moldings. Had to return to the store again. Sales floor gave me misleading information about Home Depot’s install service as well. This was a distasteful all around I would never order from this store again!

                                                  I want to know more about the tools I'm interested in, but there is never anyone available to answer questions. The shelves are empty and can't find any of the tools I see online or in other Home Depot stores. Make employees available to help customers.

                                                    There were no open registers with employees. Forced to do the job of an employee to purchase my item. Items should be discounted if you're forced to literally WORK at the store to purchase your items.

                                                          Pleasure to shop at available.
                                                          Outstanding service. For any project they can find someone with hands on practical experience. Any associate can tell you where anything is, or look it up or find someone who knows. Delivery service is great, particularly on small orders. They have a fleet of drivers with personal vehicles that will deliver instantly anything even items you might have shopped for personally too small to require a scheduled truck delivery. Shopping in person is usually best because of the clueless website. Descriptions are written by staff that have obviously never built anything and view changing a lightbulb major repair and any search returns more unwanted suggestions than relevant. Shopping in person at the Oregon City location is the exact opposite. It's quicker to drive there and get exactly what you request on the first try. Usually they will give an aisle and bin number or just take you there. They won’t badger you with unsolicited advice but if yon ask frequently can warn you about problems you might have overlooked. Whatever your project they can tell you or find someone who has done it themself.
