The associate's at this store are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are also very friendly and if they don't know the answer they find someone who does. Never disappointed shopping at this store.

WHEN EVER NEED SOMETHING FOR THE HOUSE. WE GO TO YOUR HOME DEPOT FIRST IN PERU, ILL. THEY FOUND PEOPLE FOR US TO FIX THE CEILINGS, AND REMODEL THE BATH. ALWAYS HELPING US TO FIND ITEMS, LIKE PAINT, REFRIGERATOR, LIGHTS, AND EXTRA. THE STORE WAS VERY CLEAN, AND SO WAS THE BATH ROOMS. VISIT THE STORE ABOUT THREE TIMES A MONTH OR MORE.

All about store is great except until you TRY to checkout. Self check-out only. Please get cashiers back before everyone starts shopping across the road, because many have already because of this one issue only. Hate to see the store lose over this simple problem.

Knowledgeable sales people in appliance department

No matter what project I’m working on. I go to Home Depot. There extremely helpful no matter big or small of a project. Love the employees.

We recently bought a gas oven and dishwasher from here, the sales people were very knowledgeable and friendly. Each person we dealt with made sure we understood what were paying for and went the extra mile in answering our questions. One salesmen even said if we were not happy then he was not happy.

We had an associate, Mark GS who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all of our questions.

It is a warm store with helpfull people who are eager to help you with your questions.

Customer service is not a priority. I have never been treated as poorly as I was when I asked to be checked out by a cashier rather then use a self-check out line.

Smart alec personnel inappliances, terrible communication,total confusion on deliverys.

If you are ordering anything from mill work, you MUST order through Amy!! I ordered windows from Nick and the windows that came in were not the color I ordered. I called and discussed the issue with Nick. Nick did not look at the windows and said the paperwork shows the color was correct so the only thing he could do was charge me a 15% restocking fee and order something else. Nick was extremely rude on the phone with me, he said he would call the window company to see what could be done. Nick did not call the window company or me after the first conversation. I called the store and was given to Amy. Amy went above and beyond to figure out what was going on and to get it corrected. Amy was extremely helpful through the entire process. I was given the necessary forms to complete and was able to get the 15% restocking fee waived since it wasn't what I ordered. Amy took the time to investigate and correct the issue. If it was not for Amy I would have not ordered windows from home depot after I returned the wrong color windows. Amy is extremely knowledgeable about all of the options with windows. When I picked up the 2nd order of windows, Jim helped me load the windows. Jim was very friendly allowing me to inspect each window prior to loading. Amy and Jim deserve a 10 star rating for their excellent customer service!!! Angela was the cashier that returned the 1st order of windows, she was rude during the return and I seemed to be a huge inconvenience for her. Jaime was the cashier when I picked up the windows and was also rude. She asked me to sign for the windows prior to me seeing them. I said I wanted to see what I was signing for, from which I got an eye roll and bad attitude. Nick was not knowledgeable about the different glass options and did not ask any of the questions that Amy asked to ensure I was getting what I needed from the windows I ordered. Amy and Jim are a major asset to this store and if it wasn't for Amy I would not have ordered again. Amy is the only reason I would consider ordering the rest of the windows and anything else I need from home depot.

We really enjoy shopping at the Peru Illinois Home Depot Store. They have a great selection of just about anything you need. The entire staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. We have never had a bad experience shopping at the Peru Home Depot. I always find what I’m looking for and love their seasonal nursery section with all the Beautiful well priced landscape items to choose from. We recently did a Semi DIY Curb Appeal Project to our home and found sooooo many great things through the Home Depot. We are very happy with the service and selection of our Peru IL store. Thanks to the entire staff for making our shopping visits fun with great results!!

The store employees are always friendly, helpful and knowldgeable. I appreciate that this Home Depot always is clean and easy to navigate. I choose this store over all the others in the area. Not just for convenience, but for being a pleasant place to find all my home project needs.

I always think of this location first when wanting to purchase any home improvement or landscape supplies. First off, because it is conveniently located. Secondly, the associates are always willing to help and usually have the answer to my needs. I really appreciate that Home Depot does not move items around all the time. I can always count on an item being in an area that I can recall from memory. This truly makes my shopping experience so much nicer.

I like the Home Depot in Peru the employees are very knowledgeable in almost all departments I have purchased Blinds doors bathroom fixtures kitchen fixtures electrical fixtures smoke detectors also many garden items I have gotten help anytime I have been in the store. Thank you Home Depot a satisfied customer

Went in to buy a new John Deere riding mower and Brett was very knowledgeable about any questions we had. However after checking the reviews we decided to go a little bigger and went back the next day and Jamie made the switch very easy and very pleasurable. Definitely LOVE our Peru Home Depot!

not a single cashier open, save for self check out, at 2 pm. many employees around the store, most seemingly doing nothing important, but not one cashier lane open. i work as a home depot home services contractor and i find it insulting and annoying that i am forced to be my own cashier, completely unacceptable level of service.
