I purchased a new propane gas hot water heater from Home Depot on 3.18.2024, over the phone, and they provided Delta Mechanical to do the install. They installed on 3.18.2024 and charged $788 for the install. We smelled gas and contacted the installer. He recommended we call our propane provider. Our propane company found a leak and repaired it and left us with a repair bill. I'm so grateful nothing disastrous happened. Please be cautious when using this service. The honorable solution is to refund our install fee of $788 that we were charged since the heater was not hooked up properly.

This is a very busy store but I was asked by several staff members asked if I needed any help with materials needed for my deck repair job. Now I am preparing to prime and stain my deck repair job using materials from The Placerville CA Home Depot

Like the rocks, not happy with service. There were no associates available to help load the 30lb. bags. Was told to look around outside the garden department for help!

only self checkstands open, I don't work foe home depot so shouldn't have to check myself out.

I am doing a few projects around my home and the employees from every department all the way to checkout were extremely helpful and friendly. I have a lot of things that need to be done and I will definitely be going back to this location for all of my future purchases

I bought 12 plants on my latest shopping trip but, for the first time from Home Depot, half of them met an early demise. I've always had good luck with my vegetable purchases but for some reason, these didn't make it. I'm going to try again and I'm sure I'll have better luck this time.

The lady helping me was so helpful. She had been helping another man in the flooring area and she was very helpful to him also. She made sure she told me she would be right with me.

Garden cashier was great

John went above & beyond his call of duty helping me load heavy stone/base rock. My project continued to expand causing me multiple returns to the landscaping setion. Each & ever time John greeted and served me in a friendly manner each visit. His work ethic, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile is downright admirable!.Thank you John!!!

I went to Placerville, California Homedepo to buy a well 86 gallon well tank. My grandson went with me. There was only 1 on the bottom shelf but the top and bottom of the box was open and plastic bag inside was open and tied on 1 side. It looked like it could have been a return.. It was in the evening and no help in sight, so my Grandson got it onto a flat cart. I asked the woman at the register for a discount since the box was somewhat crushed, opened on both ends, plastic bag was opened and tied back up on 1 side, I didn't know if any small parts were missing or not. She, the cashier, looked at the box, inside tied up bag, gave me a once over stare and said nothing is missing from the box! She had to call her supervisor to check on a discount for me. I heard her telling her supervisor that she believed I opened the box and bag so I could get a discount. I couldn't believe this cashier's insulting discrimination assumptions. I am an elder women and walk with a cane I couldn't open the top or bottom of the well tank box. I told her to have someone get me another well tank that was up on the top shelf. There was no way I was going to have my Grandson find a ladder and try to get a hugh heavy well tank down by himself. A old senior worker was working in that department and had to go do it by himself. There were 2 other younger workers just standing there talking to each other, I asked them to help their elderly co-worker get the well tank down,, I knew it was very heavy but they said it wasn't their department....WHAT! It took that frail senior worker a while to come back to the register with that well tank. I apologize that he had to do it by himself, he said thats ok. He was the best worker there, the others didn't care about the customer or this older senior worker. I really wonder how a big company like Homedepo could hire rude, cold hearted, discriminatory people to represent their company. The next morning Hammonds Well Company did some hard dirty work putting in the well tank and still had great customer service, even gave me a discount. Homedepo in Placerville, California needs to teach their workers customer service skills and to help each other when needed, and never accuse a customer of tampering with a hugh heavy box to get a discount when it was the only well tank on the bottom shelf, the rest were on the top ceiling type shelves, seems to me they were trying to rip the customer off by putting that well tank in a broken open box on the bottom shelf.. I've been shopping there for over 20 years, maybe I need to look elsewhere. An extremely disappointed customer whom over heard the insulating discrimination words the woman at register was fabricating to her supervisor. She was an older woman herself. I can't recommend Homedepo to anyone while allowing these tactics. Even a supervisor is listening to them.

Our local Placerville Home Depot is the best HD store.

The Husky 100 ft 14/3 Extension Cord that I purchased at Home Depot shorted out near the receiver plug after 6 months use and that is not acceptable. The Returns Dept. would only offer to exchange for the identical item, but I wanted a store credit to upgrade and pay the additional cost. So Husky Home Depot house brand failed in only 6 months and the best the Returns Dept could offer was the exact same product that's likely to short out AGAIN in 6 months. This Extension Cord powers my Toro Yard Blower with a Cord Mgmt system to avoid stressing the Extension Cord. But the Husky cord failed anyway! Worse yet your Returns Dept complains everybody in town is returning these Husky Extension Cords and Home Depot KEEPS ON SELLING THEM TO THE PUBLIC!! Well you asked...that's how Home Depot could improve my "shopping experience"

Found a rechargble leaf blower on the end of row clearance rack. Had a yellow clearance tag on it of $259. That's clearance? So went to check non clearance price, Same $259. The floor clerk couldn't explain it, said customer service would adjust it. Customer service couldn't explain it, called the floor guy for a debate. Result call for manger to come adjust. Manager didn't come or look at the item, but over the phone said that was the price. Total waste of my time, with no result.

We recently went to Home Depot to replace our fridge and found both a great selection, excellent pricing, and helpful staff. Definitely a productive visit and great outcome!

Why do they allow people to bring their dogs into this store? I'm tired of seeing dog owners allow their animals to urinate and defecate in the aisles and then sit back and watch the store staff have to clean it up. If you're so pathetic that you need to bring your comfort animal inside the store with you, you need to stay home in bed with the covers pulled over your head and allow others to shop for you.

We needed a new washing machine and when we got there we talked to Dennis in the appliance department. He was knowledgeable about the different brands. We also were helped by Zach who helped us out with measurements to make sure the new washer would fit.

Quality equipment for a mobile HDIM inspection mobile business

I have been fixing up a lot of things inside and outside of my home. Any time I need something, the Placerville store has it in stock and if they are out of something they can ship it pretty fast. I have always had a great shopping experience with them

While I was using the self checkout a manager approached me to say hello. She was very nice and she helped me with a question about a product. Her name was Vivian. She was so great!!!

Hard to get staff to help

I went to one of my favorite "Happy Places", where I like to go to enjoy shopping, and just looking for good deals, whether I need anything or not! This store is well stocked, with many choices of materials, for just about any project you can imagine! In addition, the staff (and even the other customers!) are friendly and very helpful if you have any questions about what you may need and where you requests are located! Love my Hometown Home Depot in Placerville, Ca!

I shop this store frequently due to convenience of location. But it is frustrating everytime due to the massive number of displays and endcaps blocking the aisles. It is extremely difficult to manuever through the store with lumber or carts!

Prices are high in exchange for convienence. I have found pricing difference inn close by different zip codes. Shop you products befor you go to the store. ordering on line and waiting for the products to show up when stated is a gamble. I dont care to shop Home depot stores, only when I have too
