Wanted to replace old washing machine valves due to age and unable to turn off water to machine. All copper pipes soldered. 2 Friends used Shark Bite products and loved them. I tried them and the ease of installation could not be easier. Product range great, any type of pipe fittings, copper and plastic applications. Great product......great for home owners.

Unbelievable store #1266 is great the manager is very knowledgeable and helpful and so was the employees they really understood what I needed and more thanks again

I've been a DIY women for years. Home Depot is my go to when I need supplies. The staff is mostly knowledgeable about the things I need. I think outside the box so I can't hold it against a staff member when they don't see my vision from the get go...but they're patient and listen when I try to discribe what I'm fixing or building. Whether it's a plumbing problem or a wood working project....they have always listened and eventually we come to a solution. BTW.. If it's an electrical issue.... Bring a picture of what you need... It will make it a lot easier to walk out of the store happy...

The manager we dealt with, Nicole, turned our damaged delivered refrigerator problem into one of the best experiences we have had dealing with a situation like this. Responsive, picked up damaged one and delivered new one in less than 24 hours. She was friendly, professional and effective in making it all happen. Everyone we encountered was helpful and kind. We are grateful for her / Home Depot's efforts. Thank you.

Place was filthy, hard to find employees and some employees were rude.

I find everything I need at Home Depot, it is my favorite store to shop in!! The staff are extremely helpful, freely give advice and have verbally walked me through solutions for construction issues at my home. Staff are also great with dogs!!! They keep treats behind their desks and always remember my dogs name :)

Although I had a negative experience with my order. Does one employee made my day and happy. I was able to solve my problems easily and I appreciate her time. Thank you Lisa P flooring specialists

Needed a tool in the Locked Tool Corral, wasted over an hour, being promised by several associates that someone would be right over....finally left & bought it at Williams Lumber.

Been living here for 30 years I’ve worked in the construction trade so I’ve been going to my Home Depot in Poughkeepsie since I’ve had my house for everything and anything and it’s always a wonderful experience because of the people and products it’s my candy store. I am so glad my Home Depot is close enough for me to use so often doing a great job in Hi Park. Thank you, Home Depot. today I was greeted by Julie at the front end and Chris in electrical and they were both extremely helpful and really seemed like they wanted to help me out after a stressful morning. It was a pleasure. Chris and electric has been helping me with a swimming pool electric has been an invaluable source of information and help and every time I see Julie, she acts like she’s happy to see me once again smile on my face Way to go Home Depot

I bought my lawnmower a month and so far am pleased with it.

It's tough these days in retail and some hard working caring workers get overlooked. Today was a pleasure with Nicole (Manager) and Angela R in the Poughkeepsie Store. It was not going in the right direction but they quickly stepped in to make sure it did in fact go in the right direction!

I love HD, but get frustrated at the lack of help.

One of the customer service reps by the name of Rose exercised a high level of patience as I battled with the WiFi to connect so I can scan my bar code to get the military discount. She was very understanding and helpful and I believe this should not go unnoticed.

Have not been in a store in a long time where every staff member was attentive, friendly , pleasant and helpful . The staff all seemed to be enjoying their work at Home Depot and made customers feel welcome.

Came in to there for for assistance in putting an Air conditioner in cart and the RED shirt wearing employees were rude , unattractive and very unprofessional.

Yes I was very happy when I went in there to find what I had to find and everybody was courteous and saying good morning when I went by them and Isaac at the register was very helpful and tell me to have a good day and I appreciate that very much and I do believe all the customers when that happens feels great

After getting help from another depot I’ve found that Gerald is on a power trip and lacks the professionalism to be a manager.

The web site offered the option of curbside pickup, but when I got there the store said they didn't offer that for the product and I had to come in to get a paper for pickup. The first person sent me to one place for pickup. A second person there (not very friendly) said that place was being shut down and sent me to another place. I didn't find the product there nor anyone to help. A checkout clerk knew nothing and called the first person. I gave up and got a refund, after wasting over an hour with driving and a runaround. Typical modern American incompetence and ignorance.

The Poughkeepsie Home Depot (#1266) is not only one of the best kept and well-stocked stores my husband and I have been to (based on time of need, of course), it’s also one of the HD stores where we have received the best “hospitality.” They say the South is the best for down home hospitality, but since we’ve come from North Carolina we find that HD hospitality is even better here! We’re comparing the Poughkeepsie location to other Home Depot locations because other home improvement chains (chains??? Let’s face it—that other home improvement CHAIN) are not even in the running.

Got a great dishwasher with help from Lisa M, Sully and the team at Home Depot Poughkeepsie. Great customer service, stop and see those guys- you'll be very pleased!

I rented the carpet pro cleaner, the associate went above and beyond to make sure I knew all I needed to know before leaving the store, he greeted me at the door, he offered his assistance, he provided detailed information and gave me additional information if I needed more assistance. He was phenomenal, not too many like him around these days.

I just purchased a house yesterday and needless to say I have been back and forth to Home Depot. Yesterday I dealt with Rhodale he was very helpful and had patience to deal with all of my questions. Today Lisa P helped and she was amazing! Lisa P knew what I was asking for just by me describing the things. I couldn't thank both of them enough. If all associates were like these two life would be great
