Great experience!
Sales staff on the floor went above and beyond to help me locate a much needed item that had just arrived on the truck for a project I was in the middle of completing.

    Pick Up Order
I placed a pick up order at the Rhinelander store on Monday. Mid Monday I was informed the order was ready. Went midday Tuesday, the order was at the Pick Up desk, placed on a cart by a desk employee, and at my truck in 5 minutes. He helped me load the material and was happy to do it. Great experience

      Home Office, Wake Up,
I just took a half hour to send a positive review of individual in your Rhinelander, Wisconsin store and your website would not let me send the messages. How disappointing. That takes away from all of their efforts to keep happy customers coming back. Shame on the website staff. Jerry vitton 06/05/24

Better customer service would have been appreciated
This happened a couple of years ago. I paid over $800 for an indoor set of 2 doors. When my grandchildren were visiting shortly afterward, they got a little rambunctious and water got spilled on the door which was not caught right away. This led to the discovery that the door's covering was something akin to glorified cardboard/particle board when it began to disintegrate. For the amount paid for this product, I was unhappy to discover the quality of the materials used in its construction. (I was however able to scrape off the damaged area, apply wood putty, and then repaint the door so it now looks fine.) After I repaired it, I did take the time to express my frustration to the department manager (or perhaps assistant manager). Her response was: "What would you like us to do about this?" In this situation, I think it would have been more appropriate for her to have said either 1) sorry but the door is sold as is and it's unfortunate you didn't take more time to research its components, or 2) sorry for what happened, understand your frustration, and may I offer you a gift card as a way making things better? But leaving it up to me to come up with a suggestion was quite uncomfortable.
