Purchased a tool in store and later found the same tool for $50 cheaper at another store. Tool manager refused to price match item even though I showers him it was the exact same item. I even scanned the item with a bar code scanner to prove it was identical. Home Depot policy says the price match but that obviously isn’t true. Ended up returning the item in store and bought cheaper one

The employees at the riverdale nj store are amazing !! Very helpful and a pleasure do deal with ! They all were excellent!!!

Dealt with Josh in millwork and he was very knowledgeable and took the time to find a door that was exactly what my wife wanted. When we came back to order the door, Josh was not there, but Dennis was and he was great also. He reviewed everything Josh had quoted and then placed the order. The cashier was another pleasure as she knew how to accept a check and was pleasant and polite

The employees at Customer Service were helpful and courteous.

I bought the top level Behr paint and one of the gallons had hunks of hardened paint in it making painting an awful job. I spoke to a the man in the paint department who said that that sometimes happens from old paint. I bought it and used it within days so that means the paint was old on the shelf and I got a bad can of paint. The Home Depot employee said they would not stand behind the paint and basically had an “oh well” attitude towards me. Very disappointing!!!

Did some spring shopping at Home Depot in Riverdale and where able to find all our items. Great Service and Value on grills and home projects. Thanks!

I just stopped in for a few things but didn't know where to look. I asked a sales woman if she knew where what I was looking for was, and she directed me right to it. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable

No HELP NO assistance. Disappointed in Home Depot. Waitted over 30 minutes with multiple requests and phone calls from our cell phones to the store while waiting. There were 3 of us waiting and requesting service on 1-10-25. Unaccusable............

Home Depot lost my order for 2300.00 of Bruce oak flooring. They cancelled the order and charged me a restocking fee. It took me 30 hours on the phone over a one week period and multiple trips to the store to get back my restocking fee. No one at the store did what they promised. I reordered the flooring. This time it was delivered but most of the material damaged. Then I had to figure out how to make this messed up situation work to get the job done. What a horrible experience.

I came all the way to Riverdale even though I live closer to Montville to get a piece of siding not in stock nearby. The associate was friendly and helpful. He took down the sheet from a high rack and cut it into the size pieces I asked for. Thanks!

Went to this store to pick up a few things. Evywas in dtock and everyone was helpful and friendly.

I bought these replacement spools this week and Jim from the electrical dept assisted me in garden dept He was so helpful and helped me find exactly what I needed

Had a self checkout employee escort me to the checkout, scanned my items and told me where to swipe my card. If I wanted someone to do that, I would’ve brought my wife with me. I’ve been using self checkout for years, don’t need/want help.

Stay away from Laura. She’s a nasty person that has so much attitude. She’s on the Garden Section and won’t come out of the booth to scan big items.

Installation of a stove and dishwasher: Installers didn't know what they were doing, couldn't speak English and told me I needed a plumber! Project took over 2 hours! Left our kitchen a mess and had to return to clean up after I complained. Best of all I had to pay for this terrible installation! My recommendation is to not go with Home Depot as this is a reflection on the company!!!

Their new anti theft shopping cart did not allow me to exit or re-enter the store. It took 5 min for a employee to disengage the cart to allow me to leave. I'm sure the thieves have figured out a way around them but honest people have to be inconvenienced and embarrassed by them .

I'm remodeling my mother's house and I buy EVERYTHING from Home Depot. Plumbing, Electrical, entire bathroom including tub, shower, sinks fixtures, ALL OF IT! This time I rented a truck and it was a great value. Any store can sell you merchandise but the people at HD make the difference. Special thanks to Jess, Angie and Gexon, you're the best

Conor was outstanding with his help. I needed plumbing replacement parts and he tool the time to show me what I needed and explained how to assemble and why. Great job!!!

Employees should engage with customers and ask if they need assistance !

The employees are the best! They are mostly friendly and warm and knowledgeable and go above and beyond. I’ve never had any issues making a return at customer service. The only issue I’ve ever had was when I purchased a new grill. I was supposed to have gotten free assembly with a purchase over $399 which mine was but I never got it. I ended up having to assemble it myself. Other than that, it’s always a great experience!
