I recently relocated to Raonoke, VA and the service and the employees knowledge and helpfulness at the Hershberger Road Home Depot store far surpasses my experiences in other like stores from FL to NY. The staff always greets and offers to help me much like a pesonal shopper would, who either walk me over to who can help me or to where the items are on my shopping list versus me having to wait for help only to be told, "Sorry, I don't usually work in this department", which understandably gets old and frustrating! When I walk in the Hershberger Home Depot store, I feel more like a valued customer than I do at my banks! The employees I've worked have been awesome and "thank you" all for the great shopping experiences thus far.

Store always has what to have what I need.

We were at Home Depot making a purchase and could not locate items we needed. The staff went out of their way to help us locate what we needed and to load it.

If you need to purchase an appliance, ask for Ashley!!! She is really wonderful! After looking several other places on line and in town, Ashley, at the Hershburger store, had ideas of additional places to look for what I wanted. She was friendly, intelligent, diligent, and showed genuine care and service!

I purchased flowers, dirt, gloves today and am very happy with all the selection i had to choose from.

I went to purchase a new lawn mower from the time I walked thru the door until I left the store, the service was above and beyond, I purchased a new mower took it home and did the assembly , very straight forward and when complete started on the first pull, I purchased a Toro real wheel drive, Love it

This is my second purchase of this Frigidaire Gallery microwave. I am pleased with the features from cooking popcorn to auto defrost. The first one just stopped working after 8-9 years. I like Frigidaire products and the great features.

Recently bought a Elkay stainless steel sink and a Moen faucet. Store associate named Mary was very helpful and knowledge about her department.

I was very disappointed by Jemmie at the pro customer service desk. She was on her cell phone talking to her friend while I was waiting to check the price of an item. She wasn't helping any customer at that time. A few minutes later after she hangs up the phone I asked her if she can check the price for me. She replied to me with an attitude, "you could have gone to a cashier". I told her that the regular line was too long. Jemmie needs to improve her customer service skill.

I was really disappointed by Jemmie at the pro service counter. I wanted to verify a price of a lumber and I saw there was a long line at the register but there was no one at the pro service counter. So I went to the pro service counter and saw Jemmie was on her cell phone talking to her friend. I have waited there for couple of minutes and after she got off the phone I asked her for help. Her first comment was you could have gone to the register to check the price with an attetude.

We are just moving and needed appliances. Debbie provided a great experience.
