Very nice location with 2 veteran parking spots. Much better store than the one I went to for years. I recently moved to this area -- big difference.

I was excited when this location was being built and opened in the area. It is close and convenient and usually has what I need. I’m not always happy with the service in the store. There are employees who are friendly and go above and beyond and then there are those that if you ask them a question they act like you’re bothering them. And I won’t get started on the day I had a tube of caulk fall off a top shelf, and cut my face right above my eye. I was embarrassed that it happened and had 2 employees helping me, but giving me paper towels and a wet wipe to clean all the blood off my face. But, no manager called to check on me and even when I contacted someone from Home Depot through the website I was told that I needed to contact the store manager. I wasn’t going to keep trying to do their jobs for them. I didn’t go to the Dr., I just added a butterfly bandage and neosporin until the cut healed and the bruise went away. But there should have been an incident report and someone should have followed up. And there most definitely should be something done to secure items to prevent them from falling off the shelf like that and injuring someone. Had I not moved my head, and it was less than an inch lower it would have hit me in the eye and we would be having a whole different conversation right now!

When you leave the parking lot as you head to the exit that will get you to the 1604 Frontage Road, Put a small sign or paint the pavement so the customer doesn't drive into the employee parking area.

This store had all my lighting needs in stock and the employee who assisted me went out of her way to ensure I completely understood the available options and took the bad bulbs for recycling. I appreciate the level of service provided!

Bought many beautiful plants. Bought several products (mostly Ryobi), and opened an account as I plan to do some home projects. Good variety of products to choose from. Store is easily accessible from my home.

I just started going to this Home Depot because it is close to my house in Castroville. It is very clean and the shelves are organized well. So glad to have it close to me.

Your employees are very good and most have good experience. They know how to take care of buyers.

If you don’t need help or assistance then this location is perfect. But if you need help or assistance, like with a large item, there are no employees around to give a hand

The employee(s) who are supposed to be keeping inventory of what is the quantity of the products on the shelves and what aren’t doing their job. I had to go to customer service and show proof that an item I was looking for is wiped off the rack. The employee first told me that it’s because that it is still in a box over the shelf that customers aren’t allowed access to. And it seemed like I had to do their job for them till I had to ask if they can get someone to get it down. They need to keep track of the store the store inventory and the quantity of items left on the shelves and restock them without a customer having to tell them.

I've used Home Depot for all my needs. I love this store from the time I walk in. There's always someone asking you if everything is OK or if you need anything. The layout is great and products are where they need to be. Overall the store is clean and fresh as it did when originally open. Thank you Home Depot

Always have what we need to get us back on track

Go to the Home Depot on 410 or to the one on Culebra and 1604. This new Home Depot is very disappointing!

Employees were very helpful.

I had to purchase a 20 amp circuit breaker for my home. I was happy to see that they were in stock. However, there were no employees within quite a few aisles and there was no way to call on somebody without walking quite a distance. I felt bad because I had to get a worker from another area who was stocking items to come help me. The gentleman who did help was very kind and willing to help. He had a great attitude and I was a very thankful for that.

I buy the tools that are in promotion got too many.

Ordered some Custom Made Kitchen Cabinets. Process of ordering, was easy and well organized, by the personal in the Kitchen Cabinet area. Great Job.

I went over the weekend and was very disappointed with the layout of the items. Things not grouped together properly and forces you to go back and forth through the store to find the same item. Very poor cell service.will not return.

Was able to go and locate what i was looking for quickly and checked out fast in the garden center. Very convienent and will go back soon!

Was overwhelmed at first as the layout was different than other stores. But helpful staff got me to where I needed to be. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Checkout was a breeze.

Love the new Home Depot super close to me and love the layout of the store

I appreciate the friendly staff, but the store layout could be improved. Unlike other locations, items seem mismatched. For example, lawn care products are scattered, and lawnmowers are placed far from the lawn care section, grouped solely by brand. This makes it confusing to find what you need.

I shop exclusively at HD. I spend quite a bit there but something is going very wrong there especially at their brand new store on 1604 west in San Antonio. These self check out have issue and these YOUNG workers are frustrated at clearing and correcting errors. Get attitude and walk even after I say thank you!

There are no cashiers at all. It's self check out. When I asked for help I got attitude instead. Then had to bag my own items. Nor good.

The store has such a better quality of things along with helpful people!

I purchased a professional fuel pressure gauge from Home Depot not knowing if it was going to be exactly what I needed. This item is of great quality and met all my expectations. Professional grade. Definitely recommend the tool. It worked on my 2008 Chevy Impala 5.3l Super Sport.
