    Fantastic Customer Service
    Was recently in this store while down staying at my condo. The condo is a vacation rental when I’m not using it. I discovered all the blinds needed to be replaced ASAP. When I got to the store they all the sizes I needed and I just needed them cut to fit inside the window. When I needed them cut an employee was right there to help me. Only to discover the cutting machine was flashing an error code. She and another employee worked for about 15 minutes trying to correct the issue. Never once giving up! And they got the cutting machine working and cut all my blinds to the correct size. I couldn’t thank them enough as online in Michigan and can only do upgrades while down there.

      Kitchen re facing
      I feel as though I am the poster child for do not use “Big Box” stores for home Reno needs. I do not normally write reviews but I felt this needed to be shared. My parents used HD in the Chicago land area and had a good experience so I figured I would do the same here in Florida. My experience was the exact opposite. When we initially signed and paid a substantial sum for our make over, as most people we were excited this faded quickly. The “team” that came to the house none spoke English which made the day to day very difficult, day one they threw out all my drawers and hardware (handles) to which I got a shoulder shrug and handed a work order. This took a long time to rectify by eventually got the dove tail drawers back. That being said they would not replace the hardware because it was not listed on the original order… of course it’s not they were supposed to transfer it over , not throw it away. Which was listed. Then after they “completed” the job there was a lot of poor work. The crown molding around the cabinets is much larger gap on one end and very small on the other “pictures of all this to follow” the base of the cabinets were left unfinished and had to borderline beg to get them to put the finishing trim pieces on the base, which were not done overly well even after this. We have a drawer face that is still the wrong size and has “never come in” and now we have panels that have detached from the cabinets and are falling off. When I originally called in and asked what compensation would be given for this mediocre at best, and that’s being generous, job I was told by a supervisor over the phone and I quote” what do you want me to do? Not pay my team?” To which I responded “No your company is a multi million dollar corp and I expect you to either come out and fix these problems or significantly lower the cost of this job so I can hire someone to come in and clean it up for you.” Lost my temper and should not have but was extremely insulted. The best part is now I cannot get a call back and we are going on a year and some months since this all started. So save your money and if you’re going to do a Reno remove and replace because this is a nightmare. I have waited to post this because I didn’t want repercussions while trying to get things fixed but at this point it’s not being fixed timely as it is.

        Great Associate Teamwork and Customer Service
        I went looking for a gas grill at the Seminole Home Depot. Associate Eric approached me and offered to help with any questions I had. Eric was very friendly and informative. Eric offered to load my asembled grill in my friend’s SUV. That night, I went to use the grill. The electric ignighter wouldn’t work. The next day, I went back to the custer service/ returns area and was greeted by Sara. I explained to Sara my grill issue and showed her photos. I explained to her that I had no way to bring in the grill without borrowing my friend’s SUV. Sara called for and intriduced me to the Manager, Troy, who was very attenative to my issue and helped me resove the problem without returning the grill. The grill’s ignighter now works great. Thank you to the Seminole store crew for turning a disappointing purchase into a great one! I love my new Weber grill!!

            I worked with Joe and Weezie from the Seminole store to buy a grill for our condo association since we lost ours in the last Hurricane. Both Joe and Weezie made this purchase a sheer pleasure. They were knowledgeable and made it easy, efficient and I will be raving about this experience to all my friends and colleagues. Kudos to Joe and Weezie!

              New first time home buyer experience.
              I’m a male in my 20’s who just bought my first house. I chose to get all new interior doors and thankfully had the pleasure of dealing with Sheba. With all the headaches of buying a “new to me” house Sheba is definitely the one to go to and made it a painless stress-free process. Thanks again, Sheba!

                Exterior Door Experience
                My back door blew off in the hurricane so I went to the store looking for a new exterior door. Instead of helping me inhouse, they referred me to a design consultant who would come to my home and sell me a door. She was great, knowledgeable, and gave me options which included a door with a lifetime warranty. I was asked to pay in full for the order upfront. I was told 5-8 week lead time. At 5 weeks I reached out to check on my order. I was given an estimated ship date (which was at 8 weeks) and had to reach out to get confirmation that they received my door. No one ever contacted me first. I waited a total of 11 weeks before they finally scheduled install. During this time, I reached out to the store and was told they couldn't help me because who they sent to my house was from Tampa and they couldn't access their system. I talked to a store manager who was supposed to follow up and never did. I reached out to install coordinators multiple times with no response. It wasn't until I reached out to the service manager at my wits end that a fire finally seemed to light. The install went somewhat smoothly. They showed up 40 minutes late with no call. I had my dogs separated on the front part of my house to be out of the way of the install at the back. The first time they used the front door it was left open and one of my dogs got out. Thankfully I realized it quickly and got him back inside without harm. They used the gate to access the back for the remainder of time. During install, I was offered a different swing and agreed to the offer. While he was on call with the install manager to confirm this, I heard the manager say "I don't care what the customer wants". By the way, this was not something I asked for. Turns out, the offer could not be done because it would not pass inspection. So back to original plan. They did not do install all in one day. They have someone else come do the trim on another day after the door is installed. This was a surprise to me as again, no one gave me details ahead of time of what to expect. I was just given a date and time for the initial install. I was told he was going to do a trim plate to cover the exposed floor on the inside, was not done. At this point nothing surprised me. The door looks great and is exactly what I wanted. They do not do any drywall repair or painting post install, so anything from the old trim that is exposed or damaged will be on you to repair. Overall, not a great experience and I will likely never do this type of order again from this store. End product looks wonderful from the outside but the inside drywall repairs and paint I will be doing myself to make it look nice. Everyone that I interacted with at my house for sale and install was friendly but unfortunately that did not make up for the experience as a whole.

                                Knowledgable employees/so helpful
                                I was in purchasing windows and doors for a home damaged by Hurricane Helene. The gentlemen on the window/door section were amazing! They were so knowledgeable and so very willing to assist! They teamed up to assist me knowing I had a flight to catch out of TPA in just 2 hours and the airport was 45 minutes away. The placed my custom order, pulled my in-stock windows and doors and let me charge my phone! They were amazing! I cannot remember the last time I received such awesome customer service!

                                    Troy Ware made things right!
                                    I ordered a cabinet at the Seminole store that I was told could be assembled at the store upon it's arrival, turns out assembly at the store wasn't an option. The entire process took a couple of weeks and I might have walked away a very unhappy customer had it not been for Customer Experience Manager Troy Ware. He worked with me on finding the right assembled cabinet at the right price and I walked away a happy customer. Home Depot needs more employees like Troy Ware.

                                      The wonderful kitchen designer that assisted us in purchasing new cabinets was so knowledgeable and created an environment that made us feel comfortable and trusting.                                           Lack of customer service
                                          I recently had a disappointing experience at the store. While the cashiers are always welcoming and friendly, my interactions with the staff in the flooring and paint departments were quite the opposite. I visited the store in search of advice for new flooring throughout my home. Unfortunately, the employee in the flooring section was unhelpful and somewhat rude. When I inquired about flooring options, she curtly responded that it would cost $35.00 for a measurement, and that "they will answer your questions" before simply walking away. There was no greeting or any effort to assist me. My experience in the paint department was similarly unsatisfactory. When I asked which type of paint would be best for my bathroom, the employee tersely replied, "I don't know. I just mix the paint." This lack of knowledge and rude demeanor was incredibly frustrating. Overall, I felt that I wasn't given the help I needed, and even a simple friendly greeting would have improved my experience. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of customer service and expertise in the store.

                                              5 Stars – Excellent Home Improvement Destination! I recently visited the Home Depot in Seminole, FL, and I have to say, I was really impressed! The store is spotlessly clean, well-organized, and stocked with a fantastic range of high-quality products. Whether you’re looking for tools, home improvement essentials, or outdoor gear, they’ve got it all. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, making the whole shopping experience smooth and stress-free. The aisles are easy to navigate, and I was able to find everything I needed without any hassle. One small wish: I’d love to see a bigger selection of Dewalt tools and accessories. Their tools are top-notch, and I think a bit more variety would make this location even better. Overall, if you’re in the Seminole area, this Home Depot is definitely the place to go for all your DIY and home improvement needs!

                                                  SS hardware( eyebolts) lacking
                                                  Stainless Steel(SS) eyebolt size selection & quality grade is lacking. SS hardware that is "magnetic" has minimal quantity of chromium & nickel in the metallurgy will corrode in wet environments but the selection presented is priced like it is grade 304(18-8) while it is an inferior grade. Perhaps HD's supplier is not cognizant of this metallurgic deficiency.

                                                        I was in the Seminole Oct. 30, late afternoon, snd the young man that was on the register was so personable and knowledgeable, it was very refreshing. No only did he tell me where to locate a shovel, he asked me if he was right when I got back with one! Great guy, you could use a bunch more like him.
