I have spent a lot of time in hardware and lumber stores in my life. I feel lucky that this Home Depot has been just down the street from my home for the past 8 years since I've been known to drive out of town to get to a good hardware store. The people that work there are genuinely kind and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. I can usually find what I'm looking for with a Made in the USA stamp on it and I feel good shopping there knowing that my neighbors and friends have good jobs there, too.

If you are looking to buy any major appliance, talk to Jimmie at this location! His expertise, advice and communication put me at ease with our big purchase for a washer/dryer. Jimmie also has 22 years of experience at Home Depot (ask to see his patch) - I considered it a blessing and honor to be with Jimmie throughout my transaction. If you need any help in doors or windows save time and go to the Home Depot on sunset valley. They have helpful associates in one visit not several.

Best homedepot in Austin. Out of the many homedepot's, I shop here the most. I always fund what I need. Staff members are always knowledgeable and respectful. Most importantly it's a clean shopping environment. The fact that they offer masks and hand sanitizer at every location makes me feel safe about shopping here. Thanks homedepot.

The store was very clean and the workers are professional.

Waited over 30 minutes, 4:15-4:50pm, for help in the appliances department. Heard one employee tell another the appliances person was on lunch break. Went to front to have them call someone. Finally another employee pulled Beth from flooring and she helped us. We were making a purchase over $6000 and almost walked out due to lack of service and dismissive attitude of the employees. Staff your stores. One of the flooring department employees also had to be told three times to wear their mask by another. Garden section had multiple broken pots and merchandis. Most of the items were in the incorrect spots in multiple places. Had to go hunting to figure out prices on items.

Always nice employees trying to help , and nice smile and positive attitude at check out.

You need more employees. 10 more like Barbara in this store would be a real upgrade.

Everyone in the store is very helpful, especially Martin from Lumber and the great person in the painting section. I am not so well versed in home renovations, but having just bought a house, this will definitely be my go to place to buy all my needs

store has good supply of garden supplys

I have been to over 20 different Home Depot Stores in the last 35+ years. This store is very special. The employees are helpful, friendly, plentiful and really make a customer feel valued. While visiting Austin and helping my daughter with multiple daddy-dos - new home projects I visited this store at least 6 times over two weeks. They were exceptional. I my say visit I returns from multiple purchases and Sandra assisted me. She is bob far the best HD employee I have met in twenty years. From my experiences the manager of this store knows something about selecting the right fit for employees and how to lead them and manage the stores resources. I will go here whenever I am in Austin. Another reason I may move here.

Store was clean and neat and filled with product. Cashier was extremely nice and helpful and got me out quickly. And she is very knowledgeable about the product that you have in the store. Love how she greets you it makes your day feel better.

Best one I've been to. Great staff, and ridiculously helpful employees. If they dont have your answer in-store, they own it and call the person they think will.

Lots of people and not enough disinfecting !! Need hand spray or foam as you go in or out! Just felt that many people from every area of town should have a hand disinfectant at every door and baskets were not sprayed just brought in and left instead of spraying the handles!! Not a good thing for your shoppers! Nice associate and excellent with product and very professional! But been more disinfecting done!
