Jimmy at lumber register did a awesome job!

The employees at Home Depot have been friendly and recently, particularly helpful. One employee stayed with me until I found all the lighting items I needed to purchase. I would have been lost without her help.

Ring that Bell for great customer service I had bad products and Manager was very helpful and empathetic to my problems, refunding me for more then I actually returned.

Jimmy and George in the Paint Department were knowledgeable and helpful. and so kind to all of their customers. even a six year little girl ! We definitely will get all of projects at Home Depot in South Portland.

I sat with a man name Alex who helped me order a new kitchen counter. He was very helpful and kind.

Pro desk was SO helpful with a complicated order and problem. These women know what they are doing.

I was here at 9 pm at night and the customer service I received from Pete in Painting was exceptional and I really didn’t expect it especially it being so late and nearing the end of their shift. Great people super well staffed and youre sure to find what you’re looking for! You

Awesome employees. Actually had two employees help me out my last trip into the store, and they were so helpful that I had to take the time to write this review, and I never write reviews. One employee helped me find everything on my list, and the employee at self-checkout was friendly and helpful as well. Going to make this my permanent store.

The premium wood pellets I get at Home Depot burn the cleanest of any I have ever tried. Also, the plastic bags do not rip open during transport!

I just bought a refrigerator and washing machine. The sales people were very knowledgeable. The prices were great and free delivery and installation without a long wait.

I bought some wood trim and check out was fast and friendly. Was a good visit.

The Prodesk staff, Keith, Becca, and Katen are incredibly helpful and always have been. I’ve been doing this business for many years now and i stopped going to specialty lumber companies and now do all the business I can with Home Depot because of the crew you have here.

I went in thinking I would have to spend half my day cutting lumber but Doug in lumber went out of his way to help me get everything I needed. Much better experience here then at other places I’ve been to. Thanks!

If you head to this store hopefully you run into Chris and Kevin. If you do you are sure to have an amazing visit.

If you are expecting someone to help you, forget it here. You will have to get stock from the top areas on your own. Have a question on something? Use the Internet if you can find phone service. Worst home improvement store I've been to. This location puts a bad mark on the whole chain.

The products are the same offered by well respected design providers however the ease,efficiency,and professionalism is by far greater than the area.

In todays tough times I will say that these people try hard to do a good days work. They continue to smile and help even when customers become agitated at something out of employees control. They will try to find answers and solutions.

Every time I approach HomeDepot I get butterflies, honestly! Just knowing I am about to go inside and be able to feel understood, whilest I receive in person/hands on, & HonEST answers and assistance with any product or project questions I may have. Especially for my next upcoming contract, its just so satisfying knowing that I’m NOT about to be scammed into the “NEWEST most Exspensive” tools or supplies they have, just to heighten ones commission's. Instead I get to look forward to my shopping experience. Because I know at Home Depot in South Portland and Portland, the people that work there, all bring a different kind of satisfaction for myself, the consumer. I've met a lot of different types of people in my Home Depot stores, all in which have never let me down. Some are very intelligent, or they were Super experienced in their specific department (specifically SPECIAL THANKS, to the HomeDepot Paint department associates), and above all I’ve found them all to be friendly. The customer service department is never short of friendly, and humorous HOnEST, fellow HUMANs, whome Have NEVER looked at me like I don’t belong, or followed me around like they don’t trust I know why I’m there, and above all they NEVER MAKE ME FEEL JUDGED just because I am a young blonde female whome sometimes likes to get dressed up to do my shopping. Where I’m from there isn’t really a reason to wear boots wjth heels and or my favorite sweater dress, and pink shiny leggings. Living in a small town such as mine, means always being prepared to help a fellow Islander at anytime. And I wouldn’t be much help to my community if I wore heels and nice dresses I was affraid to get dirty…So instead I try to be somebody whome makes Painty Jeans, spackled boots, and Dusty jackets look like the fashion to beat. But my point is, that at HomeDepot I truely always feel like I’m a respected part of the “Independent Contractor/HomeDepot” Family. Where as in the past, @ other stores I’ve found that, even in 21st century being a woman contractor, can still have many obsticles. However I have never felt like I was out of place in my fancier shopping attire when I stroll threw the Lumber department, admiring the massive selection, of what I call ‘Possibility’. I never feel less than satisfied by the lumber department’s enthusiasm to help a woman like me, offering me convience by using their massive laser cutting pro saws that HomeDepot has in order to help satisfy the customers needs for their specific sized pieces of lumber. The sound of it being cut is music to my artistic contracting eArs, & the smell of that fresh cut lumber is so satisfying, like a warm cedar burning candle. Mmm. annoying anybody for asking questions about a certain tool or product, no matter how “out of place” I LOOK, but instead they always listen and understand, they have always taken the time to make certain that I am satisfied, and that if they can’t help they either find a person that can and find a solution. HomeDepot is COmFORT, even when I’m in there and i know I’m about to spend alot of Money, Honesty it NEVER feels like I’m blowing my money. I can always find new great inspiration, i also can bring my child with me and know that especially around the holidays, she will actually be Excited to Go with me as her and I walk in and get to see the 9’ Santa clause surrounded with the newest high tech lights. Or walk in and see the newest power tools and Grills around Father’s Day, and of cource the beautiful Green house department in the summer what a beautiful adventure I have each spring/Summer every time I arrive for my landscaping contracts, and myself. Thanx HomeDepot for keeping it real. This Thanksgiving I say my family and I are THANKFUL FOR HOMEDEPOT and also thankful for chances to join new sweepstakes. Lol. Maybe this Christmas I’ll actually believe in becoming a winner of one. #hopeful -JG

This Is the first time in months that I came to the store, I use to dread returning anything or even picking up anything. Today I pick up an online order, The idem was broke and I thought do I really want to do this? Crystal was more than helpful and restored my interest in going back to the South Portland store.

I always seek her out and am disappointed when she is not in..... She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable!

Need a piece of base molding, cut the size I wanted, I did not need 10' feet.

I was brought up to date on my expired card (Home Depot) and immediately shop for items I needed.

I own about 40 Ryobi tools that I have purchased from this Home Depot store.

We had major issues with a delayed delivery, Crystal jumped in and saved our renovation. We cancelled the delivery found the store had the item locally and we were able to get the same day. Our reno was running almost a month behind and this was going to get us going. We can't thank Crystal enough for her assistance from beginning of our visit to the end
