Prices on shelf don't match the register
This past weekend I bought three 2.5" succulents because they were advertised as 3 for $10.00. They did not ring up at that price however, and I didn't notice until I got home. Today I returned to the store and even though the same sign was still hanging, I was not able to get the sale price honored. In frustration I ended up returning EVERYTHING. Make sure you watch the price advertised vs. what you are paying, and if it's not right protest at time of payment. Their customer service was not helpful.

    Excellent Customer Service
    I had the best experience purchasing an appliance at this Home Depot, due to the outstanding customer service I received. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and determined to help me find what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for better service.

      Pleasant experience
      Purchased a gas grill. C/S Jose was pleasant and helpful with my purchase. He took the time to take me to the display and answered my questions. Very easy purchase as well as his recommend for accessories!

            Home depot
            I shop at this Home Depot regularly but don’t shop for large projects here anymore. My kitchen remodel with them was less than ideal. Problems happen when you remodel, but there are usually solutions. No one would help, even contact me. One issue was the pricing of the granite countertops-I prepaid for a high tier one but found a lesser one I really liked. They would not credit me the difference! This was a significant amount of money. This was my second kitchen and they had NO problem upcharging me when I found a more expensive one. There were other issues to be expected-my problem was the lack of communication available along with no effort to resolve any issues.

              Tiffany is an outstanding Manager for this store. Our delivery order had missing items. I called the store and spoke with Tiffany. She located the missing items and made sure they were available when we came to pick them up. She had excellent follow through and sincere communication through a couple mix ups. Outstanding employee!! Thank you Tiffany for your professionalism, it meant a lot to our family.

                Pooor customer service!
                I was there looking for plants and therewere a table of plants marked at 6.88 and when I went to pay not all of them rang up at that price. I told the cashier and he insisted that I go take a picture and show him proof and I did that. He still didn’t give them to me for that price. I purchased all 3 anyway, I really liked them. Well he thought he didn’t charge me for all three until the proof was on the receipt that he stared at for about 2 minutes. Also he didn’t even apologize for assuming I didn’t purchase all 3 plants!

                  Both Terry and Kathy helped me and they're both GREAT! I do wish the 10% Veteran discount applied to special order items as well as what is in stock.

                          Won't Shop Again Soon
                          Purchased an appliance that was dropped on it's side on my doorstep. The store made somewhat of an attempt to help bringing out a new one. Left it in my dining room and stained my carpet. Only offered me a discount at their store on their cleaning machine to clean up their mess by myself. Manager never even bothered to return more callor follow up. I won't shop here again soon! Purchased another appliance from a competitor and had seamless delivery.

                            Terrible customer service
                            I had a terrible experience getting a dishwasher I had purchased and had installed by this Home Depot less than a year ago. They gave me the runaround for several days and finally said they couldn't find anyone to fix it so I would have to find someone on my own. They gave me a credit on my account, but it was still inconvenient to say the least - not to mention that the repair was necessary because of the way the dishwasher had originally been installed.

                              Absolute Disaster Purchase and Delivery
                              Bought a refrigerator they dropped on my steps and damaged. Store attempted to exchange but sent a replacement with a driver with terrible attitude. Finally store sent 2 employees, took 2 trips. First trip they dropped the new one in my dining room and left! Stained my carpet but offered me to drive and pickup a carpet cleaner with a discount to clean THEIR mess. Store manager that phone me was incredibly rude, did not follow up on all of my concerns. I had another appliance delivered from a competitor this week as well. Seamless, kind, helpful and NON MESSY or damaging my goods. Outrageously disappointed in Home Depot. Definitely worth canceling my Home Depot card as well.

                                  Home Depot has lost its mojo
                                  I purchased a washing machine, which has been rescheduled four times for delivery. It has been over two weeks now, and still no washing machine! The guidelines for leaving a review want you to concentrate on the product. I DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT that is fully paid for!

                                    INSTALL OF WASHER / DRYER AND REMOVAL OF OLD WAS A NIGHTMARE
                                    IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I CALLED THE STORE MANAGER - THEY WERE VERY NICE BUT THE DISCONNECT FROM THE INSTALL AND THE STORE WAS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. THOUGH IT TOOK 4X TO GET IT DONE - THEY MANAGED TO DENT AND SCRATCH A BRAND NEW DRYER STACKED. SO MANY ERRORS ON ORIGINAL ORDER. THE SLP STORE WAS NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT THEY ARE LIKE A MILLION PLANETS AWAY FROM INSTALL. A SUPERVISOR AT INSTALL WAS SUPPOSED TO RETURN A COMPLAINT CALL - SPOKE WITH HER ONCE AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUES AND SHE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND KIND AND I SAID PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE SAME GAS INSTALL PLUMBER AGAIN - GUESS WHO SHOWED UP? THE CREW FROM INSTALL THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO REMOVE THE OLD VERY SMALL STACK UNIT SAID MY HOUSE DOOR NEEDED TO BE REMOVED AND I ASSURED HIM AFTER 20 YEARS IN MY HOUSE AND 7 APPLIANCES IN AND OUT - NO, IT DID NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED. IN FACT, THE NEW DELIVERY WAS BIGGER AND WENT IN THE HOUSE JUST FINE = AS HE COULD SEE. HE WAS MAD AND LEFT WITHOUT DISCUSSING IT FURTHER WITH ME. THE 3RD CREW TRIED TO TELL ME THE DOOR NEEDED TO BE REMOVED - I SAID NO. THEY GOT IT OUT JUST FINE AND NEVER BUMPED A WALL OR THE DOOR. HE WAS RUDE AND NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO SAY... THAT DID WORK! I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE SUPERVISOR OF INSTALL. APPARENTLY IT'S A 3RD PARTY AND NOT HOME DEPOT AS THEY DON'T HAVE THEIR OWN THAT THEY CONTROL AND TRAIN. THEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE SUPERVISOR OVER THE SUPERVISOR... I WAS GIVEN A NAME AND HE NEVER CALLED. BOTTOME LINE - HOME DEPOT DOES NOT HOLD THEIR 3RD PARTY CONTRACT ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR VERY POOR SERVICES. I HAD TO STAND AND WATCH WHILE THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO LEVEL A BRAND NEW ROCKING WASHER AND PLANNED ON PUTTING THE DRYER ON TOP. I SUGGESTED THAT THEY MIGHT WANT TO LEVEL THE WASHER SINCE IT WAS ROCKING AND WOULD MAKE THE WHOLE LEVELING PROCESS EASIER. THE GUY WAS RUDE AND SEEMED TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A WOMAN IN THE PROCESS! HE SAID, MAME, WE ARE TRYING TO WORK HERE. THEN IT DAWNED ON HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA SO THEY STOPPED PUTTING THE DRYER ON TOP OF AN UN-LEVELED WASHER. THEN I HAD REPEATEDLY ASK THEY MOVE IT FURTHER TO THE RIGHT AND BACK - IN OTHER WORDS MOVE IT WHERE THE UNPAINTED FLOOR SHOWS THE OLD SYSTEM WAS LOCATED. HE ARGUED WITH ME. IT WAS JUST RIDICULOUS. THEN THEY TOLD ME THEIR TRUCK WAS TOO FULL TO PUT IN MY TINY KENMORE STACK UNIT SO THEY LEFT IT ON THE CURB SAYING THEY WOULD COME BACK - IT WAS 3 DAYS BEFORE THE SUPERVISOR OF INSTALL SAID THEY WOULD COME ON THE 4TH DAY. HAD TO SPEAK TO ANOTHER MANAGER AT HOME DEPOT. I TOLD THEM A 4TH DAY WAS UNACCEPTABLE ---- SITTING ON THE CURB. THEY FINALLY CAME AND GOT IT ON THE 3RD DAY...I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HOME DEPOT APPLIANCE PURCHASE AND INSTALL. THEY MADE SO MANY ERRORS. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT I LOVE THE LG SYSTEM AND I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT THOUGH IT WAS A NIGHTMARE AND MANY ERRORS WERE MADE IN THE PURCHASE THAT MADE IT A NIGHTMARE. THEY DID CREDIT ME FOR THE DAMAGE. THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO RESPOND WITH MAKING IT RIGHT ON THE FACT THEIR 3RD PARTY INSTALL (ALL THAT THEY USE) NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH, NOR DID TWO MANAGERS FROM THAT 3RD PARTY CALL ME BACK. THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER IT OR ACTUALLY CARE BECAUSE IT'S KIND OF THE HOME DEPOT WAY - ACCEPT FAULTY EMPLOYEES AND DON'T HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE / OR TRAIN PROPERLY. IT'S NOT MY INTENTION TO JUST COMPLAIN - I WAS HOPING TO DISCUSS WITH THEM ON HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER FOR CUSTOMERS AND ULTIMATELY HOME DEPOT'S BOTTOM LINE. I WILL NEVER MAKE A PURCHASE LIKE THIS AGAIN. I BOUGHT THE 5 YEAR ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN - OF WHICH, THE EMPLOYEES WERE NOT ABLE TO REALLY GIVE ME ENOUGH INFORMATION. I THINK WE CAN ALL DO BETTER BUT HOME DEPOT HAS TO MAKE THE EFFORT. I TRIED.

                                      I purchased a shower door online through home Depot it was supposed to be 10 days it is now over 30 days and it has not left for St Louis Park store. I decided to place another order same shower door but have it shipped to Forest lake it's already in the truck I should have it by the 13th that's 8 days from the time I made the purchase . draw your own opinion

                                          A comedian once made a comment about assistance in a home depot I tend to agree that they are many yet. Invisible. You see them walking all over the place, restocking shells, redoing inventory, moving parts from point a to point b, but at no point, does anyone stop and say, is there something I can help you with Or if you do stop someone and ask them, they say it's not their department, and they will see if they can find someone to assist. That usually takes longer. Then me walking the entire store to find what I came in for. By the way, that's not convenient.

                                            Purchased a refrigerator to be delivered during a free delivery promo. The salesperson told us that the delivery personnel could reverse the fridge doors for us -- that was not true. Very disappointing.

                                              A gentleman in a powered wheelchair asked if I needed help and guided me to a specific product that I had come to guy. I thought that was a wonderful service for so many reasons.

                                                I recently purchased 13 sheets of sheet rock and then realized I was not going to be able to get them up 3 flights of stairs in my Home. I brought them back and two employees helped me unload them and made my mistake not so painful,and the return process went smoothly.

                                                        Discussion of window purchase
                                                        When I visited with Drew in the Windows area of the store, he was very helpful and provided the input for a quote for a sliding glass door and indicated that the company that did the measures and estimates would contact me in at least 72 hours. You also charges me $40 for requesting an estimate, which I think was a bit much. The estimate company never called so I called them and they indicated that they could visit me a month out-after October 1st! This is obviously unacceptable for a wait time so I contacted Drew and he made the effort to improve that date but was unsuccessful. I am going to follow up to see if the window that I am interested in is the right price and go forward if it is. If it is not, I will expect Home Depot to refund the $40 due to poor service.

                                                            All five of the employees I encountered and with whom I Interacted were friendly and helpful, asking others if they were unsure of answers so I could proceed. That means alot when I am unsure of what I need to do .
