Mr.Ramsey was a joy to encounter he did not work in the department I was inquiring about , however that did not stop him from finding someone in that department to assist me , and he was funny to boot. Akhlima ( apologies if spelling is wrong) was a marvelous! She was aware of the store and where products were (unfortunately I have been mis-directed in other experiences there :(..... ) She was versed in various products ..... I was glad I encountered her Manager to sing her praises. I enjoyed my experience that evening, Thanks Home Depot @Gateway.

I had an extremely positive experience at this branch today. Usually you have to search forever to find a salesperson for assistance, but today one of the associates, named Shantelle (sp), went above and beyond to help me. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and did I mention - she came up to *me* to ask if I needed any help! Thank you, Shantelle, for the help - and thanks, Home Depot, for employing such a wonderful employee! I will definitely be back.

The starret city store has improved alot. I was impressed with the customer service from entering the store to leaving the store as a satisfied customer. Anastasia the cashier did an excellent job and so did her supervisor niketta

They messed up a carpet order. I moved furniture with the expectation of delivery and installation and the installer came with the order short. Needless to say I was livid! I am still waiting on the completion of this order.

If you come to this store, have any questions, problems or concerns..see Alicia is customer service her help is outstanding and will be above and beyond your expectations. She is a great help and she really cares about her customers. I can not wait for the day she become manager and train everyone to have her level of customer service. If this Home Depot don't have what you are looking for she will help you locate a store that will or she will help you find something similar or even better. She will not stop working until you are 100% satisfied with you purchase.

The employees had no idea how to answer questions about simple home repairs supplies. They kept disappearing to "get someone who knew" but no one ever came back. They were also rude. Luckily a couple of customers were able, and kind enough, to help me. Unfortunately, the shelves weren't stocked with all that I needed so I'll have to shop again--but NOT at this store.

Store 579 Gateway drive Employee Casmore is very knowledgeable about products and has a great attitude towards the customers.

I have visited Home Depot Stores in NJ. They are a model compared to Gateway. Many employees just lack customer awareness. The store is difficult to navigate. In many areas it's like a obstacle course. Floor managers are just not ready for the job.

I would say 8 out of 10 times I run into this store I find and buy what I'm looking for. The only time there's an issue is when they run out of a certain size of storage container or the metal shelf they have for a low price is never in stock no matter what time or day I go. Overall I like this store and customer service isn't that bad.

The nasty employees freely offend customers, do they think they're at home a block away or are they serving us customers? I didn't come to be offended & want them to know they'll lose business thus their jobs if they don't bring a new attitude to work.
