The store layout is pretty much the same as all the others, nothing drastically different here. The people who work here are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, if they see you wandering they approach you and see if you need help with anything. And they will take you to the item you are looking for as well, all employees seem to have a good knowledge of where items are located in the store, employees don't seem to only focus on their section and not know anything about the neighboring areas. This is a chain store, and they run things the way a chain does for purpose of continuity, but one thing they really shine at is customer service. I was helped by Jose in the hardware department, or Happy Jose in Hardware, he was great, helped me find the items I was looking for, took time to talk to me and took a general interest in my shopping experience. He was available, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I was approached by a lot of really great employees, I felt taken care of. That kind of service is hard to find nowadays in most chain stores.

I am a real estate investor so am in and out of many Home Depots in the Portland and Salem areas. The Tigard Home Depot is my favorite for many reasons. The store is tidy and well organized. The staff is friendly and generally knowledgeable. They also seem to have enough staff to help the customers, which is important. I am a 71 year old female, and the staff informs me, lifts products (I've had lots of heavy tile and grout), and loads products, all with a smile. Thank you Tigard Home Depot

I walked in hoping to have one piece of would cut. Ended up having 2 cut down into 16 pieces. I fully expected the guy to roll his eyes when I asked but he even carried the wood to the saw for me. Everyone there was very helpful!

Store staff was very attentive and helpful. Especially Curtis Gatlin. His kindness, personality, and knowledgeable about your store's product line and seemed genuinely interested in helping me find items that met my needs and completed project with complete satisfaction with my purchase. We went to the Sherwood location and the service was horrible so we drove to the Tigard location to get help. We were glad we did as Jose S. was very helpful and answered the questions the Sherwood location employees were too bothered to do. Sherwood missed out on a $300+ sale due to bad customer service as well as future sales from us due to their lack of service. As a result of the experience with Jose S we came back to Tigard a few days later to purchase additional items for our home project. We were helped by Brad in the door hardware department and he was amazing. He was super friendly and helpful. To top off our great experience with Brad, when we went to checkout we saw Jose S. and he remembered us and greeted us like family. It was such a great experience. Tigard store is the one you want to shop at in the Tualatin/Sherwood area as the other location does not have the customer service and employee knowledge like Tigard does. It is well worth the extra drive. You can buy home improvement supplies online or at other stores, we go to Tigard Home Depot because of the customer service from Jose S and Brad.

We love Home Depot and have shopped here for years. Great locations, easy to access when in a hurry and know right where everything is.

Kathy, at the pro desk, as always provide outstanding service any sense of community to the Home Depot. I'm always welcome with a smile and a thank you for shopping with us. This may seem like a small thing, but it goes a long ways in today's world where sometimes large department stores forget the importance of the totality of what customer service looks like. Kathy is a key reason to why my company continues and will continue to shop Home Depot.

Good store, very busy on a Thursday. Still able to complete my shopping within a half hour.

There is a bit of a wait on busy days and weekends, and hopefully you will not need to track down an associate too often. The folks are helpful most of the time, for a few your question is beyond their expertise (especially some of the younger looking ones) so be prepared to make your case.

My roommate and I are moving to Salem. We currently live in Tigard, so we stopped at the Tigard Home Depot first, on our way to Salem. We were greeted, in the Washer/Dryer section by a rather friendly associate. John reached out to us with a few jokes and pointed us in the direction of the best deal for what we were looking for. We weren't sure we wanted to buy just yet, as we aren't moving for at least a month, so we thanked him and left. After discussing things with family (when we got to Salem) we decided to go to the Salem store and buy the set we had seen in Tigard, as we were assured they were the same price, no matter which store you went to. You can imagine our shock, when the exact same models we had seen in Tigard, were $20 more in Salem. When we inquired, the associates we spoke to were rude, did not seem interested in helping us and after confirming the models in Tigard were exactly the same and were, indeed, $20 less, told us there was nothing they could do about the price. So we thanked them for nothing and actually drove back to Tigard to get the appliances from John. John even waited for us to make it back, before he left for the night. He, again, was very funny and friendly. We managed to get through our purchase, he explained everything in detail about how to make sure we don't have any problems when our appliances are delivered, how to get the tech to set everything up for us, and what to do if we have any trouble. He made sure to answer all of our questions. Our experience with the TIgard store was so exceptional, my family in Salem is planning on driving all the way to Tigard, just to work with their associates as opposed to the Salem office.

Steven saw me walking to my car and asked if he could load some heavy tiles for me. Then, when I realized I'd left a bag in the store, he went in to track it down for me so I wouldn't have to get my son out of the car again. He was amazing and made the trip so much easier.

Clear store layou. Great stock. Helpfull staff. As always.

I came in 25 minutes before closing on a Friday night with a materials list that I needed before opening on Sat morning. I received exceptional service and left the store with 1 minute to spare.

I still have unresolved issues with this store, but due to convenience I continue to shop here. When an alternative presents itself I will definitely give them a try.

I shop at this Home Depot frequently for work. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Sometimes it seems they are a little light staffed putting more demand on the people working. That never prevents anyone from answering questions and offering help.

memorial weekend, very busy but they seemed to have a system, got my information, mixed my paint, and got me out the door quickly.

Home Depot in Lake Oswego is fantastic and very helpful. Trust that you will be well served to visit this store. The employees are the reason I go there.
