The Home Depot Rental Center at Titusville

Take on any DIY project with the right tools for the job — even if you don't own them. Rent power tools, use them, and return them when you're done. Finish your project without cluttering up garage or workshop storage with tools you only reach for every so often.

Tool and Equipment Rental
The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Titusville helps you handle larger DIY projects. Break free of the limits of old tools and rent up-to-date tools made to suit your projects. Complete your project safely and confidently by renting quality tools. If your local store doesn't have the tool you need in stock, you might find it at another one within driving distance.

Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
To make your home more energy efficient, refresh your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to get it installed correctly. Decide between a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and get those nooks and crannies insulated well. You'll enjoy steadier utility bills and a more consistent home temperature with new insulation.

Tame the Lawn and Greenery Early
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower rental, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw rental, and the sidewalks and driveway with a rental pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be refreshed and ready for new spring flowers in no time.

Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep trucks and cargo vans ready for rental — with availability varying by store. We also offer Penske moving trucks ranging from 12-foot to 26-foot lengths at certain stores. We'll have the correct size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY jobs of all sizes, it's easy to make us your go-to source for moving and transport as well.

Large Equipment Rentals
Handle expansive projects with the right pro power equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need. From the boom and scissor lifts to give you a boost to the mini skid steers for hauling materials, we've got an expansive variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore and see what we've got in stock.

Although we're calling out specific tool, large equipment, and truck rentals, not everything is available at every rental center. If you've got a particular piece of equipment in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent a truck, tool, or piece of large equipment?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a truck, tool, or large equipment. You may also read our truck rental or tool and equipment rental pages to see if what you need is available at your favorite store. For more on renting tools or large equipment, read these Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.

Can I rent large equipment or tools by the hour?

Large equipment rentals and tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and major projects are no problem. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When can I bring the tools back?

You can return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a few hours?

Rent a box truck, cargo van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before choosing a vehicle.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that level. When you don't refill the rental truck, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent large equipment or a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Large equipment or select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

How do I receive my large equipment rental?

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered to your job site for an affordable rate — at your home or out in the field. You'll need to rent it for one day or longer and provide us with 24 hours notice so we can adequately prepare your rented large equipment. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to an associate for the best way to get your large equipment.

What are some ways to avoid extra fees and penalties on rented large equipment?

Treat your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the instructions so you're using it correctly to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are, as cancelling within 12 hours of delivery means you'll incur a cancellation fee. Make sure to return equipment by the deadline or extend the rental period to accommodate the extra time you require.
