Great Rental Department
The folks in the rental department are GREAT! especially Tanya and Dann. Tanya went the extra mile and called me back with exactly the information I needed. That kind of service was over and beyond my expectations. Dann was pleasant and cheerful and very helpful. Both employees made this visit to Home Depot the best ever.

Got what I needed, and got it cut to size too
I came to the store to get supplies to fix up a shed that suffered damage during a fire. I found everything I needed, and one of the associates approached to ask if I needed it cut to size. I did, and he did a quick job of taking care of the cutting. It was a fast and efficient visit here.

The customer experience.
Generally finding what I need when I need it is usually not an issue. What is crucial to me is the customer experience. This particular store is lacking in that regard. Not severely so but it is easy to tell when an associate just doesn't give a darn and is only waiting till their shift is over so they can go home. Be mindful to that HD. No one should come to work to go home....know what I mean?

Great Store Now. Avoided Shopping Here For A While. Greatly Improved Now.
All the employees are noticeably more friendly and helpful. I feel much more respect. This has not always been the case. I asked for some help from a young man named Tyler. He stuck with me and offered me as much help as he was able to provide. He may not have had all the answers that I needed but he persevered to see that I got the help I requested. The next day I called the store and I instantly recognized the helpful and sincere nature in his voice. I said "Hello Tyler".and he remembered me from the day before. He assisted me in identifying a large "Brinkmann" outdoor grill that I had seen and was on sale. He provided me with all the information I needed to make a purchase decision. Later that day I picked up that grill and he arranged everything for me to get it loaded into my truck and take it home. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns. My experience in the past has not been as bright. All too often, I came in to make a purchase, only to be met by an employee that would rather roll their eyes at any request for assistance, than simply help me appropriately. They acted as though my presence was an inconvenience to them and I was not welcome. Thank You Tyler. You know politeness and respect will get you through times of inexperience early in a working career. And then it becomes a habit. The most valuable habit you could ever form.

ASSOCIATES IN THIS STORE ARE GREAT!
I really love the associates in this store. Always so helpful. I wish sometimes that the aisles were a bit more clear to get a cart thru.

Wonderful experience every time I come in. I've become a regular patron there, and most of the associates know me and me them!!
The store is always clean! I can walk towards any isle to find what I'm looking for, and your associates always try to assist me without me having to ask! Please give these associates 5 Stars as follows: Debra, Yolanda, Konkita, Carl, Vickie, Sheila, Michelle, Paul. So many others which I will name later! Thank you for these SUPERB ASSOCIATES!!!!!

Home Depot vs. The Little Guy
When this store opened, I bet I was one of the 1st customers. Associates were everywhere asking to help me. That soon changed and I now find myself searching for someone to direct me to various products, at which point (many times) they will just say, "Halfway down aisle so-and-so" and many times that is incorrect. I have actually found a product before, gone BACK to the Associate and told them the correct location for future reference. I don't like the "limited" choices for certain items. I guess these are what HD gets cheapest. When I go into a Mom 'n Pop store like Gate City on Summer, I am always walked to what I need and have a variety to choose from. Overall, Home Depot suits most of my needs and it is closer to my home than Lowes, which I frequent often. My favorite part of the Truce Parkway Home Depot is Bobbie, the cashier, who always greets me by name and makes even a bad experience better!

this store gets better and better!!
the store associates have great attitudes and are always willing to help . Only downfall is obtaining info by phone. We've tried to call and get routed to departments that don't answer and call doesn't route back to customer service.

Friendly Professional Associates - Great Experience
The moment I got out of my car, Tyler offered to load everything in a cart for me and actually took the cart to the return desk for me - WOW! He was extremely positive, happy & professional as well as the return cashier Tarah - amazing. I was in & out within 10 minutes - great experience.

Truly helpful associate
I came in to buy a replacement light fixture for my deck, which was installed about 7 inches above the decking. The associate who had already helped me select some fluorescent tubes, helped me look for t he fixture, and we could find nothing that would work. He took me over to the electrical parts area and showed me how to use two parts to create a fixture that would work. My electrician installed it and it works beautifully.
The associate was very courteous and gave me his full attention, and I would like to thank him!!!!

Bad excperince on #0703
In this store when I ordered online by the time I went the store to pickup my order, I am telling you after I got text and email that state my order is ready to pickup twice not only once.They told me your order was for display sorry you can find the same item in different store, the second time when I arrived to pick up my order ,the box was damaged . I canceled the order bought in different store. I recommended to check the inventory on daily base instead of wasting someones time and energy

Paul in Millwork knows locks
I needed a replacement security door lock and although Home Depot doesn't carry mortise locks, Paul in Millwork could identify the locks I had in my bag and advised me that I needed a specialty locksmith to either re-key them or replace. This saved me a lot of time and headache as I had just experienced a burglary and had to re-key my entire house in one day on a Sunday.
He advised me on the regular deadbolts that Home Depot carried. I purchased two, which I later returned because the locksmith was able to re-key the old ones.
Even though I ultimately returned the locks I purchased and had to go elsewhere for the mortise locks, I appreciated the personal attention and knowledgeable information. This encourages me that HD is not losing sight of hiring and keeping experienced people.

Wonderful cashier Bernadine.
