Garden Friendly
I purchased the most beautiful “impatience” flowers and ferns with the assistance of the Garden staff. I love how it’s easy to find the garden staff, they all wear purple shirts. Everyone was kind and attentive. Thank you.

      Typical terrible service and emplotyees who could care less
      Typical visit go in no employees to help with anything got what we needed, go to check out the only person there walked off with a friend, never checked if we rang everything up, never checked the receipt, did not thank us as phones and friends take priority over all else, just like you will not find help without waiting and begging

        I’ll keep it short spent about $10,000 on a new deck at this location ordered through Pro desk every single one of the deliveries was incorrect ended up having to go pick up the bulk of the material myself finish the deck tried to return about $500 worth of stuff Was treated so poorly at the return desk we had to ask for a manager finally one of the other employees helped us before the manager even showed up got our money back after the second employee helped us when the first employee said they were no longer going to help us Told the manager she shrugged it off and said she would have a talk with the other employee. this is the treatment we get every single time we use the store.

            Exceptional Service
            My first order at this store was in the Pro Services “manned” by a terrific representative by the name of Julie Van Alstine. Julie was everything and all one would hope for when putting together materials for a project. She is knowledgeable, professional, caring, efficient and has a winning way with her, besides. I look forward to doing quite a bit of business through Julie and her Upper Marlboro Home Depot branch.

                    Should be a zero star
                    walked in everyone on the phone vendors on the phones blocking the rows, store is a mess, drain cleaners on bottom 2 shelves covered from bottles above leaking, had to get on the floor and get the odoban out from under the shelf, check out had problems with the register had to keep calling the girl over to fix it, says its been doing it all day, on the way out watched a guy with a loaded cart roll right past the registers outside and load his truck, wish my stuff was free. No thank you, no customer service, just back to the conversation or back on phones be prepared to move ladders yourself and do your own climbing

                          Damaged Product runaround
                          I ought a large tool chest that was damaged. Store agreed to exchange ... store missed first pickup / exchange date ... then on second date only did a pick up. All this has taken 8 calls to 800 number and store ... so when I call the store to ask when delivery they say the delivery / exchange got messed up and my only recourse now was to order again and hung up. So frustrating!

                                  Ask Before Pressing Buttons
                                  Tell the cashiers not to rush to push for a paper receipt, time and time again at these home depots the cashiers rush to print the receipt when we need the electronic ones, have them take their time and let the customer decide how they want their receipt.

                                      Folks in the orange apron typically run the other way before you get a chance to ask a question. Or if they do encounter a customer, they got to their phone and give you isle number and runaway.

                                            This store is a total mess. Missing stock items everywhere and stuff just thrown back on shelves anywhere. most of the employees are incompetent and offer no help at all.

                                              I’m truly thankful for the management staff at the Upper Marlboro store. During installation of my patio, I learned I needed an additional 4 pallets. I went online and noticed the cobble pavers I needed were out of stock at Home Depot and locally. I called the vendor to see if I could order the pavers through their company but learned they only work with their distributors (I.e.,Home Depot) not customers. So I requested a manager to assist me in purchasing the pavers that were out of stock on website. The manager worked with me for 2 days to find a way to order pavers, through their system, that were out of stock. He consulted the other managers due to the complexity & the urgency of the matter. After collaborating with the Pro & senior management, he received authorization & instructions on how to special order the pallets. The Pro manager called the vendor to special order the pavers. I received excellent customer service from the staff at Returns and management staff ensuring my needs were met. Their time, patience, and assistance helped lowered my anxiety of completing my patio. I’m truly thankful & appreciative of their service.

                                                    The worst Home Depot store I have ever visited. Had to make two trips on the same day. Both shopping trips were terrible. Difficult to find help in the store. The sales associates were impatient, rude and lacked knowledge of the store and products available. The associates socialized with each other, without trying to help customers. They ate and talked on their cell phones. Please hire new people who want to work, before the holidays.

                                                      START TO FINISH NEVER SAW AN EMPLOYEE OFFER HELP OR PAY ANY ATTENTION TO CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF CELL PHONES, EVEN RINGING ITEMS UP NO ONE PAID ATTENTION UNTIL WE HAD A REGISTER PROBLEM AND EVEN THEN DID NOT SPEAK TO US FIXED THE PROBLEM AND WALKED OFF, GOOD THING WE KNEW WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR

                                                        The staff are not willing to help. They treat you with contempt when you even ask a question. Then the isles are lined with their carts they are either shopping for and left or putting back so you can not make your way down the isles.
