I got my new tool box home and out of the box and styrofoam just to find out the bottom has a part that’s caved in. Called the store and the lady just was super rude!

WORKED GREAT FOR MY APPLICATION. WOULD BUY AGAIN.

I went to the garden center to purchase some flowers and vegetables for my garden. I was able to get what I needed and get in and out of the store quickly. There were multiple checkouts available at the garden center to accommodate the busy crowds.

Went to get a replacment for a crappy made ryobi trimmer, they had the new part but was a quarter of the entire machine, kinda BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE WAS FORCED TO BUY, HELP DESK COULD NOT EVEN GET CLOSE TO EXPLAINING HOW TO RE-INSTALL, THEY DID NOT CALL ANY EXPERT OVER TO help.

I am so grateful for the assistance Sabina provided to me when I came in to pick up my shed order. She helped me with signing up for the credit card. Kept my son entertained while we were waiting and she has always been helpful and friendly any time we visit.

Not a single employee out of the 11-12 said anything to me when asking for help employees could not be bothered to help me find the correct barcode for a product and suggested I go find it myself or look it up on the app. Easy to find same products within 2-5 miles in Des Moines with better service..

I had Purchased a water heater (Rheem) four years ago from this store. The water heater failed and leaked all over my basement. I reached out to the company that made it and was told they have a limited 6 year warranty and would only cover replacing the unit, but if there was a cost difference, (The cost difference was $390) I had to make that up or forfeit the warranty on the replacement and I also had to pay any labor costs to get it reinstalled and I had to bring it back to the location I purchased it in. After being on the phone with Rheem for over an hour, they would not budge on any of their policies. I figure when you spend that much money and buy a product that’s supposed to be guaranteed at the very least six years when it fails at four years, I shouldn’t be reliable for a dime, especially since I had already purchased it once and paid to have it installed The first time. When I got nowhere with them, I contacted the assistant manager at the store not only was he empathetic and listened but he suggested a solution that saved me hundreds of dollars..(I didn’t get it free) he stepped up where he didn’t have too and where it should have been up to the brand (Rheem) to do so. I don’t think he’ll ever understand how incredibly grateful I am. I’m a single working mom who tries to do most things on her own.. and to be shown this kind of support kindness and compassion from a person and company (Home Depot) was overwhelming. From the moment I walked into the store and asked if someone could help me unload the water heater from my car to the moment I walked out with the replacement. Each staff person was kind and compassionate, and so very helpful. Thank you to Sarah and Karl and the others that helped me! Your kindness will not be forgotten and you have a loyal customer!!!

The Urbandale has always been the best HD in the area, I drive there from 45 minutes away even when others are closer. Love this store!

Manager and some employees are not understanding or treat you like a person at all. Being flexible is what allows growth and happiness

I recently bought two Toto UltramaxII toilets from the Urbandale HD. Although they were not in stock at the store, the professionals at the pro desk were extremely helpful in getting them ordered for me. There was no extra charge having them delivered to the Urbandale store, and I saved 10% as they honored my military discount. They arrived at the store in three days. The customer service professionals assisted loading them into my pick up truck. I have come to appreciate how well the store is organized and how easy it is to locate everything I need. I cannot recall an occasion where I was not asked if I needed help with anything while in the store. Check out is quick and convenient. I appreciate the store usually has at least two customer service employees at the self check out to assist Me if needed.

Excellence with customer service from highly trained and kind, caring Customer Service Team Associates sets this and all Home Depot store and its chain apart in my perspective. Much gratitude from the bottom of my heart to all Home Depot Team Associates whom are always willing to help with finding the location of a product or aid in a home repair tool recommendation that’s useful. Indeed a blessing to always be treated respectfully.and in a courteous, professional manner.

Multiple advertised items that were in store only weren’t available in store. So I doorbusted for literally nothing (one item being the stained glass birds that were in store only then “free to ship directly to you.” Yea could have done that without going to the store. No clear signage or help finding the other on sale items (were stashed in the greenhouse part of the store). Cashier was friendly but I’ll end up returning all three items I bought for $80 because the quality was so cheap and disappointing. Knock off blow molds and cheap thin inflatables. I will very rarely return to this store for Black Friday shopping (or other shopping trips based on your current political leanings).

I bought a pair of unfinished cabinets online. They came very quickly and I picked them up at the customer service desk in Urbandale. Jenna was every professional and friendly and the service was excellent!

I arrived thinking I'd have to buy another new drill and left knowing how to use the one I had. Magic Mike was very knowledgeable took the time to answer all my questions and to show me how to use my drill. His customer service skills are top notch!

I went into my local Home Depot to purchase a water heater. John and Brian were extremely helpful in assisting me in this purchase. Not only did they take it to the cashier, but they loaded it into my vehicle. Great job!!

I was looking for some Halo LED retrofit kits for my can lights. Mark was extremely helpful at the Urbandale store. He went above and beyond to help, and he knew exactly what I needed when I explained it to him.

Even though it is a little further for my location, I prefer this store for selection and service. My cashier Lisa was very good, and quick. She saved me some money too.

Everyone I encountered in the store was friendly and ready to help. They all had smiles and made sure I got exactly what I needed to fit my needs. Very impressed
