Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with strong winds, blizzards, or thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements knock it out. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Should I do siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off wannabe porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
