Helpful Attitudes!
I came in with a small idea of what I was trying to do for a DIY project. The employees could not have been more helpful without making me not feel any kind of negative attitude about what I was trying to do. (Being an "older" single woman that does not have extensive knowledge), it was refreshing to be treated so kindly! Thank you!

    Great customer service
    I purchased several bags of mulch over the past two days and the sales associates that helped me load it were fantastic! Rebecca and Sam were amazing. Rebecca was the team coach I believe and Sam had red hair. Great job ladies!

                      handy and saves money
                      I like the idea of being able to cut and buy however many feet of hardwood or moldings you need. nice if you only need like 4 ft., you don't have to buy a whole board and waste the rest.

                          Great Customer Service
                          Our snow blower broke during a snowstorm. I purchase a Toro Snowblower at 6:15 am and person who I dealt with was so helpful and cheerful. I was able to purchase the snowblower and pick it up later that day. It is all about customer service that makes our Home Depot the best.

                              Awesome customer service!!
                              I had an issue with a wrong item that got sent to me and ended up getting charged more than I paid originally. Shelly at customer service heard my complaint and was super helpful. She called to have the billing issue fixed and processed my return. I was worried I would be sent off to call customer service and deal with this headache on my own, but she took care of it on the spot. She was super nice and helpful, which definitely made this visit stand out from most.

                                    It was top notch as always. There standards of customer service is always the best. Jeremy was very helpful in pricing the fencing that I was looking for and ASM always greets me when ever I see him. The associates are always helpful and friendly.

                                              Phone vs in-store experience
                                              I had initially spoken with someone from the Paint Department over the phone. He was extremely busy and rushed (although somewhat helpful). A second call to clarify my needs a few days later with the same experience (same dept, a different person). He too was extremely busy and rushed (somewhat rude). Perhaps more assistance in that department wound be beneficial?? I was very reluctant to go to the store due to the experiences I had over the phone. I did go (after persuasion from a friend) and was VERY pleasantly surprised by the Paint Dept assistance I received. This young lady was a different person from whom I had spoken with on the phone but seemed aware of the situation and was extremely helpful. My experience at the store was way above what I've experienced at other local stores. I'm glad I made the trip in.

                                                Delivery process was a nightmare
                                                After a 45 minute process (including hold time) a delivery for special order windows was set up. Fee charged and receipt for delivery confirmed through email. On day of delivery, no delivery occured. After another hour of calling and call backs was told the original "did not go through" though and would have to reschedule for another time. This means another day of waiting by phone for delivery call and also a reschedule for window installer. Stephanie in customer service (the 2nd time) was very understanding and helpful in fixing the situation. In today's world of busy and tight schedules, this kind of process breakdown is not acceptable for company like Home depot.

                                                          Tried to cash out at the service desk. Usually when you work at a “customer service” desk you are supposed to be friendly. This was not the case. As I was waiting Cheryl was answering phones. Then she finally said “what do you need?” I said I would just like to cash out. She scanned the lady behind me paint cans and I told her that was not mine. That lady proceeded to tell her she needed to exchange paint. She very rudely told her “well then you need to go to paint.” Then she could not find a scu number on my plywood. I told her exactly what it was and how much it was ..she rudely said “price doesn’t matter, I need a scu” she put her glasses on and tried to search it and couldn’t find it. She got frustrated and called a man named Austin up to go get it for her. I pulled it up on my phone within 2 seconds and showed her. She had zero interest and kept repeating “I need a scu ..not a price.” Austin was very friendly and kind and said there was a scu number and took care of my purchase. Some people should just not be working in customer service. It puts a bad taste in your mouth for the store as a whole!

                                                            From being greeted when we walked in the door until the minute we left, everyone was friendly and helpful.
