Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. Do you carry talking Halloween decor that moves?
Yes, we carry many types of Halloween decor that make sound and/or movement. Our Halloween animatronics bring scary characters to life. Scare your neighbors when your decorations move and talk. This includes current favorites like Skelly, the giant 12-foot skeleton, and Dean the Deathologist, a dapper bartender. For extra drama, use a fog machine or two to mask the animatronics until they start to talk.
Why should I get a generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Should I make siding repairs before it gets cold?
Make sure your home is ready for winter weather by repairing or replacing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could headed for major repairs later. Check bricks and cinder block for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped if they're damaged.
What storage solutions do you offer?
As you prepare for the holidays, make extra space with storage solutions. Protect fragile items with moving blankets. Garage cabinets keep tools, decorations, and more out of the way. Take summer belongings out of the equation with shoe racks and other storage containers. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you the right amount of space.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?

If you're a recipient, you can visit the West Cobb Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online.
