I ordered a custom made door that was designed to fit the opening my back door patio. We got the company that was going to install it came in and measured it at 81 1/2 x 72 1/2. After a few months we were able to get it installed when I noticed that the door was about 3 inches too short to fit me from walking through without having to duck significantly. When I asked the installer why it was so short he said he had no idea but it was probably a mistake about Home Depot we’re talking to him about putting the old door back it was already destroyed and was able to put it back so I had to take it as is. He said to get back with Home Depot and they would be glad to take care of it for us. When I called and talked to Ephraim and told him the door was very short he said that he would look into it right away to make it right for us he said that he made the door shorter because he wanted to save us money. I don’t know if I believe that statement as if you’re going to pay $3600 for a door does it really matter if it’s shorter and you’re saving me money if I want a taller door? After a week or so I was able to get a hold of the store manager Russ who said I’ll give you $500 but that’s it so I did tell him I wanted a new door. After not being sat down and talk to you about how we could resolve this issue my wife and I finally just said fine we’ll just give us 20% off and we’ll be done took another week for them to finally say I guess we’ll do that and I received my refund almost a month after I had the door installed. Please notice the picture this is not an exaggeration they put the header on there to literally cover up about 5 inches of what should’ve gone in. I just wish that they wanted to sit down discuss the matter and make sure that both parties were satisfied with the results instead of trying to give us the runaround for over a month and pretty much saying well you’re at fault as much as we are. I might be but I know I’ll never be back. Make sure if Ephraim is doing your door that he decides that he doesn’t want to save your money because he’s gonna give you something that you didn’t really want in the first place, absolutely clueless.

This location has just about everything you need for whatever maintenance or projects your workin on. The staff is awesome even with assisting with where everything is

Very unhappy to be resolved

went to this location because APP indicated toilet seat I needed for repair at my daughter's was in stock. Unfortunately incorrect toilet seats located behind displays! Summary, took multiple employees, over an hour, to retrieve the correct seats from bulk storage. :-(

Not impressed with the designer for our bathroom remodel. I kind of knew or had a good idea of what I was looking for, and went for a little guidance, but this gentleman helped, sort of, and then told me that he was in the middle of a design. He made me feel that my project was not big enough, or good enough for his time. He told me to order the things I needed or wanted online. So rather than bother him or anyone else, I left.

Did a major remodel with them, major major disaster, tried them again with a big appliance purchase, got steered in the wrong direction and had to go through a bunch of hassle to get it taken care if

I love going to this Home Depot. It is further from my home than the Sandy location but the West Jordan store has better inventory, a nicer layout, and I find the employees there to be more friendly.

Workers are always helpful and ready to answer any questions!

I was not in West Jordan at all on October 18. I was in Silt, Colorado. Today I get this survey in my email that says I purchased something at this store, which, by the way, I have never been at, and don't even know where it is.

Todd who manages the East end of the store area was so helpful. I bought a patio furniture set, took it home and realized that the installation was terrible. I brought it back in pieces and he had his team assemble it for us. Thanks so much. That’s what I call great customer support.

This is the best Home Depot when I’m in a hurry. Always nice employees and everything is always in stock

My experience shopping for a power tool on 6/26/2024 was the best experience I have ever had at a place like Home Depot. Todd Bair was not only knowledgeable, he took the time to educate me and teach me things that I have wanted to know about the tool for some time now. Patient, complete with detail, including his opinion on why or why not consider certain features. Employees are generally very friendly and helpful.

I have been going to this Home Depot for almost twenty years. I have never been disappointed. Their products are great, as well as their customer service. I just purchased an LG washing machine and dryer to replace our old ones. We are extremely please with this purchase. Thank you for having such great brands and people!

I went to Home Depot to fix an irrigation problem. Wyatt in plumbing was excellent! He was patient and knowledgable. He helped us find the parts and showed us how to put things together to fix all the potential issues. It's this type of customer service that will make people go back to the store. Wyatt went above and beyond.

I bought a high quality Husky workbench at an amazingly affordable price. The Home Depot salesperson was especially welcoming and helpful.

On a quest to buy a simple Milwaukee drill for Father's day - the first employee pulled it up on the computer, and was enthusiastic - we even have 1 in stock! Then came employee #2 - he was clearly not having a good day, and I get that, we all have bad days, but he tried to convince me that 'Just because the computer says it's here, doesn't mean we actually have one. It could be in someone's cart, or was stolen.' - How can it be stolen if it's inside a locked cage? "YOU'D BE SURPRISED" - lol So, instead of finding the item for me, he spent his time arguing with me and explaining why (in his mind) it's not actually there. Until... Dave (employee #3) saved the day! He climbed up (using a ladder, for his safety) and reached all the way back into the cage to grab the item I needed. Dave is a real hero - he saved my Saturday, my Father's day and my entire marriage. Thank you Dave for demonstrating what REAL customer service is. You deserve a bonus, a raise, or just a pat on the back. YOU sir, should train the rest of the staff at this particular location, especially that other guy. ;) I really should have caught his name. "The customer is always right" is a phrase I grew up on - and was my mantra back in the day when I helped customers for a living. I would never say 'This isn't my job' or try to talk customers out of purchasing an item. If you're having a bad day, take the day off. I don't expect 'white glove' service when shopping at the Home Depot, just basic human decency. 2/3 of the employees I interacted with there delivered that. Good enough to shop there again, but I'll probably drive a little bit out of my way to shop at a different Home Depot next time.

It seems like customer service is hard to find these days, but we had an employee who went above and beyond to help us the other day and it reminded me of how wonderful it is to have great customer service! Kanani was awesome first at noticing we needed help, and then at helping us find things we needed. She was cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable and talked to us like were the most important people in the world the whole time she helped us and we left feeling cheerful too. I will look for her next time I go to the store and need assistance!

While I am generally not a fan of "big box" stores, I find the West Jordan Home Depot is different. The folks in the departments are knowledgeable and helpful. The front end help is very friendly

I had an excellent experience at The Home Depot purchasing a couple of appliances. All my thanks goes to Allen (from the kitchen design area), who was phenomenal to work with, and a pleasure to chat with. He thoroughly answered my questions I had, explained the benefits of protection plans, ensured that the sale discounts were applied correctly, and made the process quick, efficient and pleasurable. After completing my purchase, Allen escorted me to the tool rental area to make a reservation. He was friendly not only to me but to everyone we passed. He checked in with, and greeted other customers along the way; and acknowledged his co-workers by name and a warm smile as we passed by. Allen’s enthusiasm and dedication to his job were evident, and his exceptional customer service made a lasting impression! Every business dreams of having an employee even half as great as Allen. The Home Depot is fortunate to have the real deal—the one and only Allen!

We had great customer service tonight from both John K and September. John not only answered all our questions but helped load several heavy pavers and bags of sand on our cart, and then followed us out to our truck to help load them.

The survey data is misleading with respect to not having a N/A option when not interacting with employees or cashiers (as opposed to machine check out).

A huge shout out to Venecia and Charlie in Customer service for doing the impossible. They helped me with finding receipts of stolen items. They took time out of their busy schedule to make sure I had everything I needed to file an insurance claim. Thank you!

This store is definitely the most helpful and are “yes” people. Especially Alex in the paint department
