Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like wind and solar.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs later. Check brick and cinder block for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed if damaged.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
