Clean, organized, and Pro Desk is always very helpful. It's nice to deal with people that are willing to share their knowledge about ways the customer can save money. They are more concerned more about building a relationship than making a sale.

On 9/7/20 I entered the home depot around 2:45 pm wearing black shorts and a black t shirt. I asked the 2 employees in the lumber dept if they had anymore 1x6x8 boards since the rack was empty. I explained that according to the internet they had over 200 in stock. Devin explained that they did not have any and you cannot go by what it says online. Devin explained that it is the managers fault for not fixing the inventory. Devin then went back to unpacking something else with Michael, without ever attempting to locate the product that I requested. Within 1 minute I found the product myself the next aisle over. Sku ending in 770, pallet of 224 boards. I approached Devin and Michael and asked if either of the could use a forklift. They asked “why, what do you need?” I again explained that I needed the 1x6x8s that they have over 200 of. They asked..” oh, you found them?” I explained yup pallet is the next aisle over and I pointed to it. You could actually see it from where we were standing through the racks. I explained sku ends in 770 labelled as 224 boards. They said ok we will find someone to get it down. They both walked toward the back of the store together because apparently it takes 2 people to find 1 person and the aisle will magically close itself off for safety. I went over to pick out a door win millwork. A short while later i could hear a fork truck running. I returned to the lumber dept. I observed Devin and Michael open up the aisles and escort the forklift driver out of the aisle that the 1x6x8 pine board pallet was in. The pallet was not on the ground in that aisle so I went to look where it is supposed to be on the shelf the next aisle over. It also was not there. I returned to the 2x main lumber aisle and discovered the pallet I wanted to still be in the overhead storage. I saw Michael walking away. I yelled toward him,” hey what happened?” Michael said what do you mean? I said my pallet is still up top. Michael said “oh did he take down the wrong one” now there were no new pallets on the ground of this aisle. Period. I said i saw you just open this aisle and drive the forktruck away without getting my pallet. Devin was walking back toward us. Michael went to Devin and explained “he (me the customer) wants to know why we didnt get the pallet. Devin explained to me” ya we dont have any of those” I said are you kidding me? I found them for you and showed you exactly where it was with the sku number and the labelled quantity, you closed down the aisles, brought the fork truck in and didnt do anything” they said “ ohh um we will get somebody to take it down. I said “ yup thats what you said 20 minutes again. I then asked Michael to get me the manager because these 2 did not know how to do there jobs. Michael explained to me that they do know how to do there jobs just refuse to do it. As a former Home Depot employee, I could never imagine treating a customer this way. They told me they did not have the product and the online inventory was over 200 pieces off because the manager didnt fix it. They explained thos without ever attempting to look for it. I found the product myself and showed them where it was. They got help. Shut down the aisles and still never got my product. Devin again lied to my face snd told me that they did not have the product in stock, after I showed him where it was. He at least said it in my direction. Hard to tell if he was looking at me or not. Devin has an extremely unprofessional appearance wearing a winter hat and sunglasses indoors in the summer. I assume it helps him In avoiding the “customer service” portion of his job. After a 45 minute ordeal of being lied to by the laziest employees I have ever seen, I finally got my product and cashed out at the register at 3:39pm with a very nice cashier named Angela. In the mean time, I did speak with the ASM on duty about the situation. This was the biggest disregard for doing ones job I have ever seen. Pull the cameras and read this review. You will find it to be 100% accurate. Unprofessional attitude and appearance displaying nothing but laziness. How many lost sales have these 2 created by simply blowing off customers. They attempted to blow me off twice, even after I showed them exactly where it was they still told me they did not have any. Its amazing these 2 still have a job. There are no other professions where you can act like this. 2 young kids who have no idea what responsibility or work ethic are.

Too many customers allowed at the same time. Staff looks tired and overwhelmed therefore not friendly. Hand sanitizers not visible for customer to use. Carts don’t look sanitize as you have to get them from the parking lot clearly touched by thousands of people. More improvement can make this store a good place to shop!

Assistance you need? Check. Products you need? Check. Priced right? Check. No one else gets three checks. Got to go to Home Depot!

If your ever in the need for some real good help with a good project ( i redid my deck) look for Savannah or Amanda at the pro counter for help. Both extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly

Freddie is a great associate, very helpful and will take the time to talk to you about what you are purchasing. He also checked on the price of specials for me. The store let a customer walk in without a mask, this is unsafe. No mask, no entry.

Do not go to this store if you intend on paying in cash or have product questions. I have gone here several times and because I prefer to pay cash I end up waiting because there is only one cash register out of 8 that accepts cash. Never mind that the customer in front of you at the cash only machine is using a credit card-it does not matter there is an extra wait time for cash customers. Cashiers are not helpful. Business is obviously so good now that the store management and employees have decided they will only accomodate customers they feel like accomodating. You need a bull horn to get anyone in the store to answer questions about products. I was in an aisle talking to another customer who was waiting like I was for any store associate to walk by or even be seen-after 15 minutes I gave up. Bought what I think will meet my needs. When I went to pay for my purchase found an assoiciate guiding customers to different registers to pay for their purchases. I asked them to if they could help me and they said they would call someone and after 10 more minutes I gave up waiting. I was going to leave my purchase in the aisle because I was so frusted with this treatment but I wanted to complete my home project and just paid and left. What is Home Depot going to do when business slows down.

This is a pretty sad excuse for any Home Depot. Store layout is terrible, cashiers are miserable, no one approaches you to assist… It’s a self-service store with zero chance of getting proactive help.

Store is always somewhat disorganized. If you need help it would be faster to get a job there and do things for yourself. When you're not ignored you're treated like you're in the way.

Great store! Has most everything one needs, from a pressure-treated deck board to a sillcock vacuum breaker kit, at reasonable prices.

this store is always stocked clean, and the people they have working there are kind and helpful, i would recommend going and seeing for yourself you will be happy you did!

Teala, the associate who helped us was great. She located the product we were looking for even though it was difficult and stick with is until she found an operator to take the pallet down and get the product even though everyone was very busy. We want to recognize Teala for her fantastic customer service, knowledge, friendliness and diligence!

MIKE THE CASHIER WAS GREAT. WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. I DROPPED MY DEBT CARD AT REGISTER AND HE RAN ALL THE WAYTO THE FAR END OF LOT WHERE I WAS PARKED AND BROUGHT IT TO ME. HAD MASK, GLOVES AND RESPECTED MY DISTANCE AS BEST AS WE COULD! A++

Purchased a few things for a burst pipe,i the purchased items included a small shop vac. When I opened the box I found a used vac that was dirty and missing all the parts except the hose and the vac itself. This is the 4th time this has happened at a home Depot. Once it was a water heater that was a used return. Clearly nobody checks returned to see if they are correct.

The PRO team is awesome. Steve, Mike, Amanda and Christina are the cream the la cream in costumer service. It is a pleasure shop at this store and have them with a smile in their faces, always willing to help. I'm glad to have this store near me becouse they have the best HD PRO Team in the world.

Generally speaking, I like Home Depot stores and will continue to shop in this and other Home Depot stores, so I'm not trolling them. I have to give two big criticisms -- which are not unique to this store, by the way -- 1) The aisles are WAY too crowded with merchandise and lifts and who knows what else. I'm so sick and tired of having to maneuver around this obstacles -- sometimes having to go to other aisles just to get through to the other side. It is so inconsiderate of the customer; 2) Why... why!... does a store get rid of all the cashier stations and replace them Self-Checkout stations and then proceed to CLOSE HALF THE SELF-CHECK STATIONS!!!!? What the heck is that about? I used to be able to Self-Checkout very quickly. Now, I have to wait in a line!!! C'mon Home Depot! Are you kidding me? You just saved yourself a ton of money by eliminating cashiers (reducing customer service) and then you make it worse by forcing us to wait longer at Self-Checkout. I have to say that it makes me angry every time I go to checkout at this store. The incredible nerve of these people is unbelievable. And by the way, I'm really disappointed in how they have cut back the hours of these stores. I really appreciated being able to come at 9 PM to pick up something urgent for a project I was working on and now... {sigh}

Great service by staff who are patient and knowledge.

Went to home depot for a simple carpet and tile installation the process takes way to long. The problem started at the store. When you go in there if you ask an employee for help it is like you are bothering them. Instead of them being happy to help you. The woman who works at the desk in the tile carpet area is less than helpful. She is very slow when using the computer and is not proficient with it at all. Unless you have 1 1/2 hours to waste waiting to check out then it is fine. The entire process is way to long. They need employees that actually want to help customers. I am done with home depot. I cringe at the thought of stepping foot in the Home Depot in Worcester. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I think the Worcester Home Depot needs training in Customer Service. There is never anyone to help and when you find someone you don't get them to take the time to show you where things are you get the finger pointing in the direction of the item you need. You also need someone who goes right to propane. I have sat there many times waiting and waiting for someone to show up.

the employees in Worcester Home Depot truly care about helping me. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and always offer me help finding the items I'm looking for and need to buy. I thought I knew everyone at Home Depot but yesterday I meet Hector and I was very impressed. Hector showed me a pallet of Tiles for sale and I purchased them and I will come back to buy more. Thank you Worcester HD, your people really stand out compared to the other locations.
