will this fit a door knob on a bedroom? we lost one.

It might be too short
Is the length shown the length from the top of the head to the end of the screw or is it the length of the part of the screw that has the threads?
it is measured from the bottom of the head (the flat part) out to the end
For this cabinet knob screw the length shown is from the bottom of the head to the end of the screw.
I purchased a pack, but they still don't fit. They are the same size and thickness,but still too long. The next shorter size is too short. The previous screw with my cabinet knob appears to be notched so it can be shortened in smaller increments. Any suggestions?
wire strippers have the screw size in the handle. screw it in to the length you need and close them shut to cut. work the screw back and forth a few times before removing it to clean burrs from the end. you are ready to use it. much luck

Do They come in 3/4"?
