Will this work with a GFIC outlet
This is a "1 Blank" configuration made to cover an open electrical box. To cover a GFCI outlet, our "1 Rocker" is the correct wallplate and you can search here on the Home Depot website for: "Internet # 100663017"
Is this smooth finish?
Yes, it is smooth.
1) Can this be wallpapered? 2) can this be painted?
Hello Alex: This is a stamped steel wallplate which is powder coated (painted) white. You could glue and wrap wallpaper around it (which would be tedious) but it should not have exposure to the electrical box behind as if there were an electrical spark the paper could catch fire so we don't recommend it. For painting, we recommend you consult your paint professional for any primer or types of paint to adhere to the powder coating.
Will this also fit a 1 toggle on the left with triple paddle rocker switch on the right? I’ve attached a pic of what I’m talking about.
I cannot see the picture you attached, but if the triple paddle rocker switch has three horizontal switches on one device, and the wallplate mounts with screws on the top and bottom, this wallplate will work as you want.
Are these switch plate covers black matte? I dont want shinny?
This wallplate is a "flat" black finish and is not shinny.
The web page says that the plates are 6.75 wide. The ones I received under the SKU are only 6.5. Having waited over a week for these I now have to return them.
The measurement is 6 9/16" which is under the stated 6.75" and we will update that now on the website. Sorry for the trouble.
Do the light almond switch plates match Leviton's almond rockers and outlets? If not, is there a better option besides Leviton?
