Thank you for your inquiry. For an inside mount we recommend ordering a size 1/2"W smaller than your window opening space in order to account for the mounting hardware space. If you are mounting your blinds directly to the frame of the window, measure the exact width and height of the wood frame itself, from outer edge to outer edge. We recommend adding between 2in. to 4in. to your width measurement. Also add at least 2in. to your height measurement to allow enough room for the mounting brackets and headrail above the opening.
