Hi Sharon, thank you for your question. We recommend letting the coating dry for 72 hrs or more, depending on weather conditions, before driving on the surface. Have a great day! -Alex
Hi DIYer, thank you for your question. If the coating is suitable for floors and paintable, you can use Granite Grip over it. Also keep in mind that if the surface has water issues, it can affect the Granite Grip. Please reach out to us directly if you have any other questions. Have a great day! -Giovanna
Hi Donald, thank you for your question. The concrete should be in good solid condition and free of any loose coating. Bare concrete should be etched to promote adhesion. If the surface is previously coated, we recommend scuff sanding it if it's glossy to ensure adhesion. Make sure the concrete is clean and dry before applying the Granite Grip at the recommended spread rate. We're here to help if you have any other questions. -Lina
Hi Terence, thank you for your question. Our Granite Grip is a stand-alone product that does not require a topcoat. Additionally, that may smooth over the texture of the finish. Have a great day! -Lina
Hi Brian, thanks for the question m A separate sealer isn't needed over the Granite Grip Coating. Have a great day! -Ronald
Hi Richard, thanks for the question. Yes, our Granite Grip Coating can be used over exposed aggregate. Have a great day! -Ronald
Can this product be use on a brick patio
Hi Benny, thanks for the question. When applying over bare concrete, I'd recommend cleaning the surface with a concrete cleaner and then etching the surface. Etching gives the concrete a rough profile similar to 150-grit sandpaper. After it is clean and etched, you can prime the surface with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer which helps with adhesion before applying the Granite Grip Coating. If you have additional questions about your project, please reach out to us directly. Our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
I would use a concrete primer prior to doing your first coat. You will need at least 2 if not 3 coats of this product.
Hi Jshome, thank you for the question. Our Granite Grip Coating can absorb heat, like any other coating. The darker the color you choose, the more heat the coating will absorb. If you have additional questions about your project, please reach out to us directly. Our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
