Hi Mell, thanks for the question. Our Solid-Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer is designed more for exterior wood projects. For changing the color of your wood vanity bench, I'd suggest using one of our paint & primer in one products, such as our Ultra Interior Scuff-Defense Paint. If you have additional questions about your project, please reach out to us directly. Our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
Hi Anna, thanks for the question. Our Solid-Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer isn't recommended to be used on ceramic. Have a great day! Ronald
Hi Penny, thank you for your question. If the previous solid stain is in good condition, then clean the surface with the All-In-One Wood Cleaner, No. 63, and allow it to dry completely before re-applying the Solid Wood Stain. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna
Hi Shell. thanks for the question. I wouldn't recommend our Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain & Sealer on Trex. Instead, I'd recommend using our Solid-Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer. If you have additional questions about your project, please reach out to us directly. Our customer care team is happy to help. -Ronald
Hi Sally, thanks for your question. You can move furniture back onto your deck after the stain has dried for at least 72 hours. Enjoy the rest of your day! -Christina
Hi Jose, thank you for your question. A 5-gallon bucket of Behr Cedar Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain & Sealer covers approximately 1250-1500 sq. ft. for first coat and 2500-3000 sq. ft. for 2nd coat. 2 thin coats required. Have a great day! -Alex
Hi Vera, thank you for your question. After removing an existing coating, you then want to clean with Behr All-In-One Wood Cleaner No. 063 (it helps with adhesion). Once the surface is clean and dry, you can apply the recommended 2 coats of Behr Solid Color Waterproofing Stain & Sealer. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have further questions or concerns; we are always happy to help! -Alex
Hi Peydon, thank you for your question. When spraying the Semi-Transparent Wood Stain, we recommend a high-quality pump sprayer with a variable tip or an airless sprayer with a .015-.019" tip. Work in small sections and immediately back-brush or use pad applicator to eliminate puddling and distribute the stain evenly. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna
